Visited in February 2016 with my sister and her family. This is her family's favorite East Coast ski resort and I definitely see why. The mountain is much taller and has many more trails than any reso... read more »
Beautiful! Short sort of but beautiful. Hard too, mostly uphill. Trails aren't well marked. Get a map. But it's very beautiful especially on the way down.

Service, location, service at the restaurant of the club very well, a marshall very sympthique and relax but to the ground super beautiful design with beautiful view but a great lack of maintenance, many trees fell in wooded, so so, correct green grass enough equal, the cart was in a lamentable state, in short I expected more according to the pictures on the website of the club. It is far from the maintenance offered by clubs like Lachute, four areas, the Victorian.show original
Rustique mais haut!
Beautiful location, great facilities. A little confusing layout but everything worked out fine.
Went to participate in a Spartan event, it was absolutely incredible. Very challenging and worth the drive, way better and harder than Mt Tremblant. Hope it's there again next year.
VERY disappointing. I waited a few weeks to calm down a little, think about, see if maybe it was me but I'm still very p--ssed off. I was looking for a nice place to spend a quiet week away from everything with my wife and maybe have my (gown) kids for a weekend. I reserved a two bedroom suite in what they called their Condo Hotel for a week. Great pictures on their website. Arrived confident that it would be a great week. Had a hard time finding it. It is down a long hill almost 2 km past the lodge/restaurants or anything else. Not a road you want to walk at night. The room was old, carpets worn, furniture/sofa-bed uncomfortable and creaky to sit in. Looked like a '70s motel you rent by the hour. The bed was hard as rock, didn't sleep all night. For the price I paid I was very upset. Checked out the next morning and drove back home. When I called the next day trying to get a refund they were almost insulting. Told me there was nothing to do and I wouldn't get a penny from them. Any other hotel, particularly one as reputed as this place, will refund you with 48 hours notice. I was ready to loose a good chunk of the almost $2000 it cost me but the small print on their website says a cancellation within 30 days results in 100% payment - no refund. I have some fault here, that's for sure but most of it is being too gullible and trusting. If you reserve here be aware that the pictures on the website are 20 years old or more and/or photoshopped. The hotel hasn't been updated since it was built. If you are looking for a fireplace, which is part of their marketing, don't bring your own firewood. Its nothing but a piece of glass with a light bulb behind it and not even an element to give you some heat. I could go on but I've already lost most of you because I am too verbose. I'm not a skier and and unless you are, try the bed abd breakfast in the village. It can't be any worse.
Participated in the Spartan races at Owls Head. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful chalet, awesome steep slopes that I'm sure are killer for skiing.
