  • Known for its all year round activities, Owl's head quiet unique place. It's uniqueness lies for its proximity with lake Magog which looks heavenly from the head of Owl!!! I went in fall season for hiking with my colleagues. The view that you get from the top of lake Magog is path breaking. There are several summit in this trail. If you want to have almost 360 degree view (I can say you could get around 325 degree view as remaining 35 degree was blocked by a few trees) then please do not give up till you reach to this point. The only thing I disliked about this place is the administration office was completely closed. So, we had problem going for bathroom before starting our journey to the top. We went in Mid of October but were surprised to see it closed despite of being an all year round activity spot. However, never mind as the view that you get from the top makes you forget all these. I wish you a happy journey and happy watching from the top!!!
  • Rustique mais haut!
  • Beautiful location, great facilities. A little confusing layout but everything worked out fine.
  • VERY disappointing. I waited a few weeks to calm down a little, think about, see if maybe it was me but I'm still very p--ssed off. I was looking for a nice place to spend a quiet week away from everything with my wife and maybe have my (gown) kids for a weekend. I reserved a two bedroom suite in what they called their Condo Hotel for a week. Great pictures on their website. Arrived confident that it would be a great week. Had a hard time finding it. It is down a long hill almost 2 km past the lodge/restaurants or anything else. Not a road you want to walk at night. The room was old, carpets worn, furniture/sofa-bed uncomfortable and creaky to sit in. Looked like a '70s motel you rent by the hour. The bed was hard as rock, didn't sleep all night. For the price I paid I was very upset. Checked out the next morning and drove back home. When I called the next day trying to get a refund they were almost insulting. Told me there was nothing to do and I wouldn't get a penny from them. Any other hotel, particularly one as reputed as this place, will refund you with 48 hours notice. I was ready to loose a good chunk of the almost $2000 it cost me but the small print on their website says a cancellation within 30 days results in 100% payment - no refund. I have some fault here, that's for sure but most of it is being too gullible and trusting. If you reserve here be aware that the pictures on the website are 20 years old or more and/or photoshopped. The hotel hasn't been updated since it was built. If you are looking for a fireplace, which is part of their marketing, don't bring your own firewood. Its nothing but a piece of glass with a light bulb behind it and not even an element to give you some heat. I could go on but I've already lost most of you because I am too verbose. I'm not a skier and and unless you are, try the bed abd breakfast in the village. It can't be any worse.
  • Went to participate in a Spartan event, it was absolutely incredible. Very challenging and worth the drive, way better and harder than Mt Tremblant. Hope it's there again next year.
