  • Friendly tasting room - usually not crowded. Surprisingly good wines! Or maybe not so surprising...the environment is very clean. Fun to walk through the vineyards.
  • Who knew Nova Scotia had decent wines? We stopped at this winery for a tasting. There is restaurant here if you are hungry. We tasted several of the wines, most of which are made at least in part from...  more »

  • The vineyard itself is worth a visit even if you don't like wine yourself - simply for the view. Gorgeous location. Great local wine.
  • Beautiful scenery and they even have trails you can walk to explore the vinyards. Pet friendly too!
  • My wife and I tried Jost wine on a trip to Nova Scotia, loved it and brought several cases back with us to share with friends who also loved it. The following summer we sought out a location specifically near the winery for a weeks vacation. We visited the Vineyards several times while there which was walking distance to the cottage we rented. We enjoyed the tour and sampled all the great wine. We even enjoyed an evening of classical music from a trio playing at the winery. We're booking another trip as I write this to go back to this region again and the Jost Vineyards. I highly recommend.
  • Essential stop for us every summer. We find the whites better than the reds. The tour is worth going on at least once.
  • Very nice little shop, interesting tour, great sampling. Also picked up some food. Was out of the way but worth the drive.
