Hiking Trail Nature / Park
A tumbling boardwalk weaving through untouched wilderness, Marais de la Riviere aux Cerises offers serene rambles across a dream-like landscape. Created when the surrounding Cherry River broke its banks in the late 19th century due to a series of dams, the marshes teem with wildlife, a popular spot for birdwatchers. Stroll down marked trails ranging from 0.3 km (0.2 mi) to 2.8 km (1.7 mi), or follow the popular route along the wooded boardwalk and stroll above the marshes. Bring water and don't forget mosquito repellant. See Marais de la Riviere aux Cerises and all Magog has to offer by arranging your trip with our Magog trip generator.

  • Very nice path that is dog friendly. The path is open all year and offers various distances to walk. There are two parking areas one at each end of the path. Love this place!  more »

  • Visited with my son's 2nd grade class. They offer nice educational stations. Very nicely kept and easily accessible. I will go back for sure. Beware of mosquitoes.
  • Marsh trail of high quality, the majority of which is on an elevated foot walk. Lots of varied flora. Don't miss Louis St-Cyr's wooden sculptures exhibit in the otherwise well laid out interpretation center.
  • Awesome little natural parc with forest, swamp . They have a really awesome interpretation center for the whole family. While walking, there are plenty of birds because they also set up bird feeders all along the path. It's free which is a major plus, with a big free parking. I would really recommend this place if you are in the area.
  • Great nature park with well maintained trails. Best of all its free.
  • Lovely place for an afternoon walk or a jog. Has plenty of information about local wildlife.
