Marais de la Riviere aux Cerises, Magog
(4.6/5 based on 200+ reviews on the web)
A tumbling boardwalk weaving through untouched wilderness, Marais de la Riviere aux Cerises offers serene rambles across a dream-like landscape. Created when the surrounding Cherry River broke its banks in the late 19th century due to a series of dams, the marshes teem with wildlife, a popular spot for birdwatchers. Stroll down marked trails ranging from 0.3 km (0.2 mi) to 2.8 km (1.7 mi), or follow the popular route along the wooded boardwalk and stroll above the marshes. Bring water and don't forget mosquito repellant. See Marais de la Riviere aux Cerises and all Magog has to offer by arranging your trip with our Magog trip generator.

  • Mont Orford and city of Magog, the Marsh extends and offers to those who engage on the path of wood the chance to observe birds, stroll at the heart of a preserved flora or meet the merry band of Acachinatas (we!). The cherry River also allows to try canoeing, one or two. This country is lovely and seduction operates. Large spaces, amenities in harmony with nature. Very nice place.

  • A two hour walk very easy most of the time on small walkways safely. A lot of information panels richly illustrated. But it rained a little. Several trails are in rehabilitation between 2015 and 2017: no way to make a loop around the swamp eg. It was still a beautiful walk in the middle of wonderful warm colors. Yellow orange red! Magnificent.
