  • The Glenora property and facility is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen, especially during the fall colour change. We were unable to take in the tour due to time restrictions. We really enjoyed the whiskey sampler and live Celtic music in the restaurant. The food was good (good serving as well) but could be improved to match the quality of the rest of the establishment in my opinion. Very enjoyable.
  • I had a wonderful time here on a distillery tour learning about the process, history of Glenora, and tasting some of their spirits. It's in a beautiful location, and the old wood architecture everywhere is great to experience. There's a neat little pub inside too of course, but we found the prices a bit too steep for the offerings. Overall a great experience, and I'd definitely come back.
  • Tour was a bust. We arrived just in time for the 3PM tour, and as such the three of us were in the back of the group. Could not hear the tour guide for the whole tour, even with his hand held speaker. When serving testers, many questions were asked, could not hear anything in that part of the tour because we, along with 5 other people, could not fit in the room. We finally abandoned the tour half way through (This coming from a whiskey lover). Have travelled all around the world for a year, and this was the worst $7 dollar tour.
  • We stayed at the inn and drank at the bar, had breakfast and also dinner. Overall a great experience and wonderful service. They were very busy for dinner but made a great effort to ensure the dining experience was good. Whiskey was also quite good, and bar music was very good! :)
  • Quaint whiskey distillery tucked away in the foothills of west Cape Breton Island. Kind staff and amazing tour of a single malt whiskey distillery. Clean and comfortable cabins, authentic Celtic nightly entertainment... oh and great whiskey!!
