  • Loved this place. Made me think of my Nan and our Acadian roots. We could have spent days here for sure. So much to see and do.
  • This sort of attraction is right up my alley. The staff are so pleasant, they clearly love what they're doing. There's loads of interactive stuff to do, like work with a lathe, learn to tie knots, and make candles. The wheelwright is so knowledgeable, it's kind of amazing. He was willing to answer all kinds of questions, and told me all about the science of making wheels and putting on the metal tire. It was so cool. My neice goes here every year and loves it every single time, and now I know why.
  • The animators were so generous and friendly. Don’t miss this stop! Whether you are a history buff or a science fan, or you are trying to amuse your family. Something for everyone! Definitely stop at the cafe.
  • We enjoyed touring the village here. The people that were acting as villagers were very knowledgeable & very friendly! The place looks small but we took our time & it was a bit over an hour spent here. There's also a gift shop which we bought some fabulous, delicious gooseberry jam & a restaurant as well! We are so happy we stopped here!
  • My 6 year old loved it as she got to feed chickens and the blacksmith made her a gift. The village actors/interpreters were so nice and friendly. Beautiful place.
