St. Paul's Cathedral in London, Ontario, Canada is the seat of the Diocese of Huron of the Anglican Church of Canada. It was designed in the Gothic revival style by William Thomas and built between 1844 and 1846, replacing the previous church, which was built in 1834 and burned down in 1844. • This Anglican church is original, although it was burned down in some areas several years ago. After mass, I took the 20 minute tour and was very informative. Very worth the visit!!  more »
  • This is a very pretty church, and conveniently located downtown with ample street parking. Must see the stained glass.  more »

  • When I used to think of London I always pictured Tower Bridge or Buckingham Palace, but I had no idea this cathedral was such an iconic building that stands up with the other famed places along the London skyline. Frankly, I found it to be more interesting and impressive then even Westminster Abbey. You are provided a small touchscreen video device with headphones so you can learn about the building and its history. I found the information helpful, but I would've liked more depth on the art in the building.St. Paul's Cathedral is one of the old, historic, beautiful churches located in the British capital, with its history dating back to 1675
  • Wonderful place. So much to see and take in. Great view from the top of the dome, although it fair near killed me getting up there. Well worth it though. The video installation art at the rear of the cathedral really made me stop to think. Very powerful and in no way an intrusion in such a space. You could spend all day in there. You can book a tour which I would recommend: There is an audio/visual tour which is free of charge but there is so much information it is hard to get your head around it. I think the tour would give a visit some focus. You could always have a wander round after. I also advise visitors to go early so that at least part of the visit could be crowd free, relatively speaking. There is a nice little souvenir shop and cafe in the crypt. The highlight of my visit to London.
  • Visited this place few years ago and you must visit the inside of the St.Paul cathedral it’s beautiful and you got the chance to go upstairs and have an amazing view of London from the top (stairs available if you wanna take a challenge) but there is a lift as well. Great architecture and even if you don’t wanna visit the inside you can always go around the place for beautiful spot and picture to take. You gonna fall in love. Top 10 place to visit and full of good restaurants around or place to eat a quick snack.
  • A wonderful cathedral. Massive expansive space which words can hardly describe. It is a must see in London. There is a crypt in the basement as well as the museum shop, a small restaurant and a tea room. Plan on taking a guided tour. You have a choice of a quick tour (one-half hour) or an extensive tour (1.5 hours). The total experience should be 1.5 to 3 hours. Wear comfortable shoes as there is lots of walking on hard surfaces.
  • Magnificent, a sight to behold. A must-see for anyone visiting London. I recommend going up to the viewing galleries (although it might not be for those who aren't fond of heights)! There is an elevator up to one of the lower viewing galleries but sadly it was out of operation during my visit, so it might be worth checking prior to entering if it's in operation.
