  • Always have a great time taking the kids and dogs to the park. The walk along the river is very enjoyable and the kids love the play ground.  more »

  • The air is cooler and cleaner because of the trees. It is good to see wildlife here. People have to stop feeding ducks and geese bread. Read the one and only sign. You are making them sick. They don't go to a bakery either. Also there is a fine! Always find out the rules first before visiting especially concerning wildlife.
  • I take my dog here regularly. The park is very well maintained. My only criticism would be that the cyclists seem to take over the pathways. It is a great place to walk, jog, run or whatever you want to do!
  • Beautiful open spaces with ample picnic sites. Large playground, Storybook Gardens ($, children's activity area), multipurpose path along scenic Thames River. My favorite London park.
  • Grew up around here. Loved the park. Just wish that dam would get fixed. Typical London, spend millions on abstract art. Spend nothing on tourist attractions.
  • Awesome place to go out for a walk, bike ride or picnic. Thought it was pretty cool that most trees had labels on them saying what type they were. My only reason for 4/5 stars is that the washrooms were locked/not in service when we went which is kind of a bummer as we were planning on spending more time at the park.

Where to stay in London

To make the most of sightseeing in London, it's best to stay in the center, as close as possible to the confluence of the city's two rivers. You'll be just a stone's throw from the city's best parks, as well as good entertainment. If you're just passing through and looking for budget accommodations while in transit, look east along Dundas Street--as you approach the airport, you'll find a host of affordable roadside motels. For a more suburban feel--and proximity to the city's biggest mall--head south to White Oaks, where you'll find a cluster of accommodations.
