Walking along the peaceful River Thames watching the ducks and geese. Listening to the birds singing while flitting in and out of the trees along the way. more »

We took a family walk on the trails. Even an out of shape old gal like me could do these trails. The scenery is beautiful and the trails are well maintained. more »

My friend and I went for an evening walk here. It was very pleasant walking on the path. Just a suggestion for others, remember where your car is parked. We did get a little lost afterward, but were able to get some help from someone we met there. If you have little ones, there is a great playground and splash pad there, and of course there is Storybook Gardens, a great place to take them during a summer day. This is also a great picnic park.

Great place for a family bike ride! My wife and daughter and I rode 13 km one way on these trails and there is a good selection of playgrounds and picnic areas along the way. Though be warned that some of the playgrounds are in a bit of rough shape :/ loose boards and one had a screw sticking out on the steps... Not good for little ones running and climbing :/ BUT we came more for the ride rather than the playgrounds! And the riding is good, paved the whole way. You can ride for hours! Not too busy when we went so that was nice too. The trail basically goes along the river the whole time so there are some pretty neat lookouts. There are some sketchy areas when you get deep into the city where you may not want to stop with your little ones, as there are some rough looking folk in some spots (always to be expected in bigger cities though). We just rode a bit faster through those sections :) all in all it was great! 25km total and lots of smiles!

Great multi purpose park for the whole family. Adults can enjoy walking, running, roller blading and biking on the paved multi purpose paths. Kids will love the vintage miniature train ride, water park/playground and storybook gardens. This is a perfect walk through trees and along the rivers edge with lovely scenic spots for a photo ops. The botanical gardens on the east end of the park is a great place for photos.

It's a great place to go for anything, if you want to sit and relax, have the family for a picnic, take photos of the amazing landscapes the trails are beautiful. Lots of areas for family events. Just amazing

The wading pool is open; kids fresh out of school keep this park really busy. However, Springbank has the most shade of any park I know. Plenty of BBQ pits too; if you want to cook. It's my daughter's favourite play area, in town. And I tend to feel this park is safer, for us, and more upbeat than some of the more central park areas
