  • The children's museum is awesome. Free on Fridays! It will keep your little ones entertained. Some have mentioned its rundown. Do not let that deter you. It's not like they do not do regular housekeeping and everything is dirty. It is what it is. A very old building. And pretty awesome at that.
  • Kids had a wonderful time here. So many things to do and discover! Lots of rooms filled with activities to entertain and educate the kids. The museum is actually an old school. Very reasonable admission. If you have young kids and are in London be sure to make this one of your stops.
  • Very nice place lotssss of opportunities for kids to play my kids love to go there all the time buttttt.... building is really old & kind of stinky Staff is very friendly & helpful
  • Kids had a lot of fun all though from an adults perspective I do feel that they need work in updating the place, looks very old.
  • My family went to the children's museum for a birthday party for the lovely and adorable twins whose parents, whom we had gotten to know at the Korean nurse meeting a few weeks ago, invited us. This place was pretty informative and the concept itself was not bad at all. However, quite a few rooms were missing items, and some exhibits falling apart. It seems to be getting run-down like others mentioned. The staff were really kind and helpful as well as knowledgeable, though. It is worth a visit, but you should remember that great expectations can lead to great disappointments. I recommend this museum for a birthday party.

Where to stay in London

To make the most of sightseeing in London, it's best to stay in the center, as close as possible to the confluence of the city's two rivers. You'll be just a stone's throw from the city's best parks, as well as good entertainment. If you're just passing through and looking for budget accommodations while in transit, look east along Dundas Street--as you approach the airport, you'll find a host of affordable roadside motels. For a more suburban feel--and proximity to the city's biggest mall--head south to White Oaks, where you'll find a cluster of accommodations.
