  • 1) One of the best park in London near Western Campus. 2) Great place for several summer activities such as picnic, BBQ, and outdoor get together. 3) Fun place for kids: water park, splash pad. 4) Good for other activities like photography and fishing. 5) Amenities: Parking, 3 tennis courts, 1 outdoor pool, 1 spray pad, 2 play structures, 1 swing set, paved path, picnic shelter, picnic sites, washrooms, accessible [https://www.london.ca/residents/Parks/Explore-Parks/Pages/Major-Parks-Gardens.aspx]
  • I lived in this city all my life (26 years) and I just recently been to this park and felt like I have been missing out my entire life. it is huge, gorgeous, and has equipment, pool, tennis courts, lots of picnic areas and covered seating. best park in London hands down.
  • Community pool, splash pad, several playgrounds, beautiful trees, and riverside scenery make for an absolutely gorgeous outing for families. Usually has outhouses, especially during the summer when it's crowded, so washrooms are readily available! Lots of seating - both benches and picnic tables for large groups. The park is bursting with paved bike paths, and a foot bridge that crosses the Thames river right near all the action. There's a pavilion and other standard park fair. Cross the foot bridge, and you're in Waldorf park just across the river, which is just a few blocks from Western's campus. There's plenty of parking, but be warned: it's a 3 hour maximum, and they will enforce this. One of the best parks in London!
  • Great park - one of the best in London. Older equipment with more wood than metal....good and bad. There are two climbers for different aged kids and plenty of open space. Near the parking lot will usually have the "remnants" from geese but generally, it is quite clean. Plenty of deep shade from the 100+ year old trees. Splash pad is wonderful. Easy to drive to, easy to bike to, easy to walk to; a very good park.
  • This park is on my top 5 list for City Sanctuaries and Parks ... Just my own opinion ... there really is nothing one can not do in this Pl ark and Recreational area! ... .. . From Pavilions to a one of a kind pool, to the amazing views of the Thames River System to the Sunsets / Rises over the treetops ... Amazing park just like all like lands that are in London, Ontario's Parks and Recreational Dept ... .. .
