  • Gibbons Park is one of the best parks to visit in London! And . . . It's even better if you've brought your canine companion along. Double the fun! Wide open green spaces, tons of trees, tennis courts...  read more »

  • Community pool, splash pad, several playgrounds, beautiful trees, and riverside scenery make for an absolutely gorgeous outing for families. Usually has outhouses, especially during the summer when it's crowded, so washrooms are readily available! Lots of seating - both benches and picnic tables for large groups. The park is bursting with paved bike paths, and a foot bridge that crosses the Thames river right near all the action. There's a pavilion and other standard park fair. Cross the foot bridge, and you're in Waldorf park just across the river, which is just a few blocks from Western's campus. There's plenty of parking, but be warned: it's a 3 hour maximum, and they will enforce this. One of the best parks in London!
  • This park is on my top 5 list for City Sanctuaries and Parks ... Just my own opinion ... there really is nothing one can not do in this Pl ark and Recreational area! ... .. . From Pavilions to a one of a kind pool, to the amazing views of the Thames River System to the Sunsets / Rises over the treetops ... Amazing park just like all like lands that are in London, Ontario's Parks and Recreational Dept ... .. .
  • The park is a great wide open space with an excellent splash pad for kids and a proper swimming pool area for adult. I much prefer it to springbank.
  • One of London treasures. A nice spot to bring the kids. Enjoy the park and splash pad. Have a picnic
  • I love this park. Great place to walk, run or bike through. There is a great playground with splash pad for the kids, community pool and also some quiet spots if you just want to relax.
