  • Opened in 1930 and inaugurated in 1939 by King Georges VI, the terrace de Lévis (in honor of the Knight of Lévis, whose statue adorns the square) offers a beautiful panorama of the city of Quebec, of the St-Lawrence River (both upstream and downstream), through Lévis-Québec as well as the old Lévis (convent and College de Lévis, the Anglican Art Center (, the Church of our Lady of victory, the sawmill Mercier, etc.). It is one of the best places to start and complete a circuit of walking tour of the old Levis because there are many free parking spaces (street William Tremblay). Good hike!

  • Very nice view of Quebec, of the Chateau Frontenac, the Petit Champlain district, etc. On the other hand not very large. Beautiful place to see the fireworks on the River in the summer. The parking lot is filled pretty quickly the weekend and the beautiful summer evenings.
