  • The walk around the lake is one of the better short walks in Lethbridge. The paths are always in good repair and there is always geese or dragon boats on the lake.
  • Henderson park is a great lil getaway right in the city. Hosting Dragonboat racing in the summer, teams use it all summer for practice. Too bad they have no rental paddle boats anymore. There is a gre...  more »
  • A gem in the city. Full-loop path around the lake, takes about a half hour, plus stops to pet pooches and chat with locals.

  • Always a nice time to walk around the lake. A walking/bicycle path encircles the entire lake and takes about an hour to stroll. There are washrooms and a concession on the north side along with a large playground for the kids. There seems to be family events happening all the time, from dragon boats to fireworks and nature play dates. There is a large sloped-entry outdoor pool with waterslides, spray park, climbing wall. Great for all ages!
  • Really nice place to walk around. If you have a family, its great for kids too. They've just opened up an awesome looking pool to cool down on a hot summers day!
  • It is a beautiful and serine place. There are lots of different birds to watch and plenty of play areas for the kids. The Japanese Gardens and a swimming pool, as well as a lawn bowling facility. There are lots of things for adults and kids to do.
  • The lake is always a good place to go if you gave kids or just want to get out of the house. The two parks are nice and they a few different paths you could take. It's great that they have a confession open during the summer for those hot days. It's clean for the most part and they have lots of picnic areas around the lake.
  • One of the better Lethbridge parks. Not so busy that kids can't get on equipment rarely so quiet they can't socialize.
