Cosmodôme, Laval
(3.3/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Take the kids along to Cosmodôme and spark their interest in space, astronomy, and astrophysics. The museum puts a strong emphasis on playful visitor interaction, offering virtual missions to Mars and moon landings. Exhibits focusing on our solar system populate the halls, as do those on satellites and space travel. Show younger members of the family a scale mockup model of the Endeavor space shuttle and a number of planets to get them engaged. The center also periodically screens movies; inquire inside for details. Plan to visit Cosmodôme during your Laval vacation using our convenient Laval vacation planner.

  • The concept is good. There are assignments, we made the March. No access for children, but we had fun anyway. Exposure is short. See if you go there and if you like the planets. The explanations are nice. So have fun learning, ideal for children.

  • Disappointment, visit the shuttle disappointing especially for the price. Not enough interaction. However the children are like.

  • We made a visit to Saturday morning at opening time. Stranemente we did not encounter the tail and parking, free, facilitated the Park. This is a specific museum space. There is a large room where models of the planets have been reproduced; There are giant visors that display various businesses and a small museum with some exhibit. You can access, upon payment and reservation, to visit the spaceship but it was our guide a bit lacklustre, not to explain it properly. Keep in mind, however, the double translation from English/French into Italian. In anticipation of the visit there is an area with lego-like pieces, which you can use to build spaceships. Also there is the possibility to participate in ' spatial ' missions but, again, we had difficulty in understanding, although you can select the input language (English or French).

  • Enjoyable afternoon. Kids had a good time. I recommend for kids 10+. My 5 & 7 year old had a good time, bit founded some of these exhibits challenging (ie - boring to them). I loved it.
  • We hosted my daughter's birthday party here. The Mars mission was fun. I though there could be more activities with the shuttle and hands on stuff during the first hour. They did more arts and crafts stuff. For the price I paid I would have wanted more. But you know what. My daughter and her fiends loved it so it's 5 stars for me to.
  • Great for young kids. Good museum area and fun virtual missions. Look for coupons on Tuango
  • Really enjoyed the visit. It's interactive and fun. I may recommend you visit with kids 9+ my daughter is 7 and couldn't complete all game by her own.
  • I've been bringing groups of middle school students from NYC to Space Camp Canada for over 14 years and can honestly say that they have had a fantastic time every year!! I have seen them cater to groups large and small. Their staff is bilingual and knowledgeable. If your child is interested in space travel, this is the place to go!!
