Cosmodôme, Laval
(3.4/5 based on 140+ reviews on the web)
Take the kids along to Cosmodôme and spark their interest in space, astronomy, and astrophysics. The museum puts a strong emphasis on playful visitor interaction, offering virtual missions to Mars and moon landings. Exhibits focusing on our solar system populate the halls, as do those on satellites and space travel. Show younger members of the family a scale mockup model of the Endeavor space shuttle and a number of planets to get them engaged. The center also periodically screens movies; inquire inside for details. Plan to visit Cosmodôme during your Laval vacation using our convenient Laval vacation planner.

  • Sooo interesting! Huge! A lot of cool things to learn and to try out. There is a gift shop inside, but definitely not enough things to buy!! There are so many things I would sell in that shop if it wa...  more »
  • In this educational leave in November, my wife and I went to the Cosmodôme with our 13 year old grandson. Olivier is in secondary 1 and he enjoyed his visit. This concept of mission to make known the world of space exploration is well thought. The information that touches this topic is well presented. Our out of the scene, we perform well we became not learned in this area, but in short, we are less ignorant. We have lived all three a good time and I recommend the place to anyone who wants an introduction on this world of exploration of the great outdoors. In addition, we added to this, this race in supersonic, thrilling video game and full of surprises... We and our young have a good laugh!

  • I think it's short visit without a mission but with a mission (the solar system) it was interesting (except for my 5 year old boy who often found it complicated but has 7 years of love.) I intend to return when they are older to better enjoy it) after the mission a visit planets that are really in an interesting atmosphere followed by a small room with diversified info. When has me really I intend in learn more about the solar system, these planets and the moons (especially those of Jupiter :))

  • Enjoyable afternoon. Kids had a good time. I recommend for kids 10+. My 5 & 7 year old had a good time, bit founded some of these exhibits challenging (ie - boring to them). I loved it.
  • We hosted my daughter's birthday party here. The Mars mission was fun. I though there could be more activities with the shuttle and hands on stuff during the first hour. They did more arts and crafts stuff. For the price I paid I would have wanted more. But you know what. My daughter and her fiends loved it so it's 5 stars for me to.
  • Great for young kids. Good museum area and fun virtual missions. Look for coupons on Tuango
  • Really enjoyed the visit. It's interactive and fun. I may recommend you visit with kids 9+ my daughter is 7 and couldn't complete all game by her own.
  • I've been bringing groups of middle school students from NYC to Space Camp Canada for over 14 years and can honestly say that they have had a fantastic time every year!! I have seen them cater to groups large and small. Their staff is bilingual and knowledgeable. If your child is interested in space travel, this is the place to go!!
