  • Good like everything in Canada, a natural spectacle, runs through a wooded trail when suddenly opens and you see the glaciers and mountains, is a magical moment, then litter by the circus to face ascent last to reach the step, the views are spectacular and everyone who comes is fascinated, I think that it is a mandatory Trek It is simple but it itches because it goes up constantly. The Centinel "A thin, high rock" (Mallo) can be seen from the passage and is large and majestic as you can not imagine. Go to first time and take some shelter and water. ;)

  • I honestly don't understand the high ratings of this trail. The view for two hours abandoning is non-existent and strenuous uphill. Go trekking on Lake louise is much better

  • At the start of Moraine Lake, we can do this hike which leads in 3 hours approximately to a pass located at 2600 m; 3 parts:) 1 2) uphill pretty steep forest growing medium in a kind of fairly clear high on the surrounding summits 3) final climb very steep valley, with passage of two neves (mid-July). Very beautiful views.

  • Beautiful hike. We did the loop hike, by descending into the paradise valley. A beautiful steep hike offering wonderful views of Mt. Temple. One can do a quick scramble up Mt Temple from the Sentinel pass if one starts early and has a good weather window.
  • Well spent time. Great hiking tour and breathtaking view on the top. No people, just nature and fresh air. The best therapy after hard week.
  • Excellent hike beginning at Moraine Lake and ending at the start of the Mt. Temple scramble. Plan to be at the parking lot of Moraine Lake very early if you don't want to end up parking on the road or not being able to access Moraine Lake at all. I'd recommend being there by 8:30am at the latest on weekends. The hike takes you up many switchbacks until you reach the valley, from there the trail is more flat until the final assent up the last few switchbacks to the top of Sentinel Pass. From here, experienced scramblers can go up to the summit of Mt. Temple. In September you'll have amazing views of the Larches changing colour.
  • Always love this hike during the autumn season. The switch back is a bit strenuous but the golden larch view was well worth it. Parking is a perpetual problem it seems so arrive early.
  • One of my favourite hikes on the planet! A relatively short day hike with big views at the top. Not to be missed.
