  • In the path of the tour saw only in the garden. It is a castle on the shores of Lake Louise Hotel. To spend a vacation and thought it was the right choice. The many flowers in the garden, clean.

  • Very scenic, a must see if in the area. Hiking, kayaking, canoeing, photography, food and lodging all in the area. Very busy place year around but well worth the visit not too much like it. The Chatea...  read more »
  • What a gorgeous view and more food than you could possibly eat. Scones were particularly nice. Thoroughly enjoyable respite.
  • Absolutely stunning location. The staff were friendly and engaging. Food was excellent and decently priced for being the only restaurant there. I would recommend the Fairmont to anyone looking for a good place to stop, eat, and take in some amazing views.
  • Great location with beautiful vies of the lake. Expensive, but you get what you pay for. Only gripe was the rental car (Hertz) desk, was poorly staffed with long waits not knowing when someone was going to show up or when they might open in the mornings. I was also getting conflicting information from the rental car desk and the hotel desk adding to the confusion. While I understand the Hertz desk is a third party company, it would be great if the hotel staff are able to influence or man the rental desk and provide the same service you come to expect of the hotel. Bad experience due to the rental desk should not be the reason why a guest leaves with a negative impression.
  • We didn't stay here but visited. Lots of tourists here as it is right on the lake but the hotel is gorgeous of course. Top notch service and amenities from what we could tell. If you can afford to stay here with a view of the lake it would certainly be breathtaking but you'll pay through the nose for that privilege.
  • Lake Louise is definitely a must see location if you are traveling through the Banff National Forest. The Fairmont Chateau is a Grand place over looking the amazing ice blue waters of the Lake. The mountains are majestic and the trails go on for miles. One of the neatest things to do here is to canoe across the lake. Calm ice blue waters and natural beauty everywhere. Although it is one of the highest tourist spots in the area there is always a place to go to get away from it all.
  • The staff was mainly rude and giving me and my friend dirty looks. The only nice/helpful people were the manager and the old man at the front of the hotel. At arrival the staff also didn't notify me about the time of the breakfast so I ended up missing it. The wifi was just terrible and when I asked for an extra key to the room the front desk girl was very rude. The valet also can't park standard, stalled my car 3 times before he gave up. Not planning to stay there again, I would rather stay in a tent somewhere and be eaten by the Bears.
