  • We called in here as part of our tour. So we walked through the lobbies, checked out the restaurants (got a photo of the lake out of the dining room window) and the gift shops. Wished we were staying ...  more »
  • The Fairmount hotel in Banff is much more spectacular than this property. This is newer and seems more sterile. No old charm. The view is pretty but certainly not worth their prices

  • Great great great service. Rooms and beds are comfortable. Views are second to none. Make sure you get a lake view room. Food is awesome at any of the restaurants and the Spa is too notch.
  • What an enchanted place - picture perfect hotel at the foot of lake Louise. It is a bit exclusive with a lovely cafe. However if you weren't staying they did send us to 'the dungeons' aka the 'normal' canteen which was very much a low down version (which was a shame given the distance we'd travelled). Anyway hot chocolate was lovely and we enjoyed that in the ambience of lobby which was v grand indeed. Def worth popping by. There's also a plethora of various gift shops there as well.
  • Absolutely stunning location. The staff were friendly and engaging. Food was excellent and decently priced for being the only restaurant there. I would recommend the Fairmont to anyone looking for a good place to stop, eat, and take in some amazing views.
  • It's a huge honeypot for tourists. Visited here in the summer and it was insanely busy. So much for tranquil serenity! The hotel had a quick stop cafe inside which served reasonable dishes at above average prices. It was set up in a way it could cope with a massive influx of tourists fresh off of a coach.
  • Amazing place to visit just to have a look at the building! The restaurant is only available for full meals but there is a deli for snacks and sandwiches. Don't expect to come here for a cheap meal though! Worth a wander around and a look through the shops and reception area as it's so beautiful!
