  • Call me crazy but I hiked this in the middle of a snowstorm and still gave it a 5 star rating. My wife and I spent 2 nights at Lake Louise in September and unfortunately the weather wasn't the best.....  more »
  • We arrived at 9:45 on the first monday in October and there were still spots left in the main lot (although they were filling up quickly). The trail is well marked. We hiked to the Lake Agnes...  more »
  • I will be honest, I’m probably not in the best shape and this hike was really tough for me. Having said that though, it is doable, just go slow and wear proper hiking shoes and hiking steps helped me....  more »
  • Hands down one of the best views in the area (and yes, there are a few!). The hike/walk is decent and gets the blood pumping. If you’re going once some snow has fallen, I’d advise cleats (we didn’t have them and we’re sliding all over the place due to ice). Definitely push yourself to get to the top, even if people coming down are so-so about what they may have seen. The sun moves and the view will totally change. Absolutely stunning.
  • This is a wonderful hike that I would do over and over again. The view from the top is amazing, but I actually enjoyed the hike itself more than just the view at the top. Several times throughout the hike you get gorgeous views of Lake Louise. Not to mention you pass by several other places like: Mirror Lake, Lake Agnes and Lake Agnes Tea House. We stopped at the Tea House for tea, wraps, and talked with some of the staff and other hikers. The next part of the hike was my favorite. I loved the hike around Lake Agnes and the switchbacks leading up to the beehive. Some of the best and most scenic switchbacks, in my opinion. There were other hikes, but it wasn’t overall busy. I’d say the hike was moderate. It took us about 5 hour round trip including the hour stop at the Tea House. We are in average shape. The incline at certain parts did get somewhat intense. It was worse in the beginning, for me, than at the switchback area.
  • A moderate hike that is Well worth the views. Make sure to go up to the big beehive for a breathtaking lookout point of the fairmont/lake louise
  • The hike up to the little beehive was absolutely worth it! The hike took us just under 3 hours back and forth. Once you get to the top you can enjoy breathtaking views of Lake Louise, Lake Agnes and Mirror Lake! Don't forget to stop by the Lake Agnes teahouse on the way down. I would highly recommend this hike if you are around Lake Louise!
  • A challenging hike even in good conditions so make sure you are prepared. Takes around an hour and half to climb from Agnes Teahouse. It can be very slippery if it snowed a few days before so just be warned. We still managed it, just take it slow.
