  • The park may be open for camping but no one seems to be here (much colder than nearby Lake Cowichan, it seems) so the park is deserted and very nice for walking. Nice 3-D (i.e., has some change in ele...  more »

  • I have been camping here for 17 years and I will NOT be returning. Bathrooms were not cleaned once in the five days we were there. Gatehouse staff member Josie was rude to my son. Very disappointed!  more »

  • Pristine campsites that are a decent space from the others. Feels quite private. Close to a beach. A great place to camp.
  • Had a great weekend with a group of friends. Was disappointed in the very wet wood being sold at a higher cost than "market" value just down the road and the lack of any maintenance of one of the women's bathrooms. The washroom went a whole day on a long weekend without being tended to and eventually was out of paper towel (2 dispensers) and soap. Considering the number of staff who were collecting bottles - one could have been assigned to maintain the washroom.
  • Absolutely lovely campground, super clean and well maintained. Hot showers and clean bathrooms along with a beautiful beach and mountain views
  • We stayed here recently for a short family vacation. Everything about this park is excellent. Good beach, great place for Kayaking (The three small islands are a lot of fun to kayak around), and clean campgrounds. They also have short hiking trail that takes you to the three islands shown in the photos and nice point over looking another park of the lake. Really really nice location for family camping and that is what I would give it five stars for.
  • Gordon Bay Provincial Park was clean and well maintained. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful (our car battery died and the staff was quick to help with a boost!!) Will definitely refer others to camp there and will go there again!! Park is walking distance to the lake. 😃😃
