  • Standing tall on a headland the red painted lighthouse is well worth the stop, just off the 132 highway. Great views in both locations as well.  more »
  • The lighthouse was in the best shape of all the lighthouses we saw as we drove the Gaspe Peninsula! Loved the lighthouse's color! The visit is free if you do not want the guided tour.  more »
  • It is a beautiful place to stop by while you are driving far to the east. The most beautiful lighthouse in the region in my opinion.  more »

  • Run into the place unintentionally. Amazing sunset. Had some scotch.
  • The lighthouse was truly worth the visit...
  • We ran into this place by accident. This is a great place to watch sun set into the river! And love that red lighthouse!
  • While traveling the Gaspe Bay Peninsula we stopped here.Light houses are my fascination,no two are a like giving each a uniqueness in character. Traveling Gaspe Bay Peninsula and what a nice road trip.
  • The lighthouse at La Martre is one of the finest of its kind. Located near the presbytery and the Town Hall, the Lighthouse is at the heart of its municipality and also offers a splendid view of the St. Lawrence River. Visiting the Museum is not essential to enjoy the beauty of the place.
