  • This is easy to find on Highway 93...35 minutes and 48km from Banff. The trail starts at the carpark and winds around the canyon. You can do it in half an hour.Lots of photo spots. If your lucky like me ...  more »
  • This place is a must if you are in Kootenay. The "hike" isn't very long and you get to cross some very fun/high bridges across the canyon. We loved this area!  more »

  • A short hike that takes you through millions of years of erosion. There was a wild fire about 10 years ago in the area and new trees are booming, the scene shows the cycle of life. A great experience for everyone in the family especially if you are interested in geology.
  • Spectacular views!! Awesome walkways along and across the canyon allow for breathtaking views of the canyon below. Went on a snowshoeing tour here with Discover Banff Tours. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking to explore the wilderness in the Canadian Rockies!
  • Awesome stop while driving along the South 93. It's a very quick walk around the Canyon and in the winter you can ice climb from inside the canyon after rappelling down about 35m.
  • Good short hike. Far less busy than Johnston Canyon in Banff N.P.
  • Great views, only about 45 minutes from banff and 20 from Lake Louise. Bathrooms on site and there are fences and railings along the informative path.
