Categories: Nature & Parks
Inspirock Rating:
4.6/5 based on 320+ reviews on the web
Spend a day in the oldest park in the city at Victoria Park. The park not only has a history going back to the 19th century, but it also offers plenty of features. A picnic shelter offers a place to eat, or take the kids to the playground and splash pad. Others may want to make use of the horseshoe pit or basketball court. A historic clock tower adorns one of the entrances. The park’s pavilion, which the city rents out for special events like musical performances, is a must-see. • I love Victoria park. I take my dog there all the time. There's always something going on. It's very well looked after and enjoyed. I'm gonna go there right now.

  • This is a nice place to take a stroll around in the summer evenings and Fall days......lots of geese in the park so need to avoid them and their droppings
  • Fantastic accessible parks; one for toddlers and one for older kids. Great for all ages. The Splash Pad could use a little work but it's fairly fantastic, too. Great space for hanging out with the family!
  • Might be the prettiest park I've been to in Canada. Also very nice when compared with other parks elsewhere in the world. Good place to relax and enjoy a nice scenery with good activity around. Good place for festivals like Kultrun in July!
  • Something for everyone to enjoy at Victoria Park. Beautiful landscape, natural and lovely bridges and walking spaces. Picnic, massive play area and kids water park..all free for the enjoyment of..everyone!! Beautiful
  • So many things for kids to do: great playground and splash pad. Lots of room and very safe.
  • Favourite park in Kitchener-Waterloo. Always busy with people, but you can still find a place to sit beside the river. Lots of ducks and swans. Saw an unusual duck the last time we were there. Has a restaurant onsite. Lots of playground equipment for kids as well as a splashpad.
