  • You can walk from one park to another if you go to the left. Going to the right seems even longer to get to the next park that intersects.
  • The tower is still where it was 100 years ago. Today, however, it becomes increasingly difficult to find it, if you want to ride with your car. In the Sun, you see its full splendour and he's trying to move even in the right light. Since 2 years ago, built a bridge over the Grand River, it can be also from the side of the Doon Golf Club (a little hidden) hike. The Walter Bean heritage trail, leads right in front of the doors of the tower. Over to the right a permamenter campground and to the left, the Grand River in his element. A large field of corn, fruit trees, wild flowers and the wind that moves freely. About 5 km from the Doon is man on the road, to discover new and old car park and approximately 2 hours. Try it this way once. As evening or in the morning to the be awake.

  • Located near the river this old 'pioneer tower' is a great lookout point for the grand river as it leaves Kitchener on its way to Cambridge.
  • Interesting historical site. Not much more to say about it.
