  • Awesome time at Bad Axe Throwing Kitchener. Great atmosphere for the bachelor party we were throwing. Matt was a great axe coach and an awesome sport about wearing a thong on his head. Kept the games moving and helped keep us organized. Nice you are able to bring in your own food and drinks. Would definitely recommend!!
  • This was a surprise party for me and I had no idea this was what was happening. I share my birthday with my grandson and thought I was going to help out my daughter-in-law with his party. I had no idea of what the place was called, just had an address and showed up. What a shock! I had heard of axe throwing and thought "who would ever want to do that". My sister came up with the idea to do this for my 60th, and we had an absolutely wonderful time. The instructor we had was Matt and he took the time to explain everything to us, introduced us to some fun, throwing at balloons, etc and towards the end of our Battle, (my team won) we were even hitting some bulls eyes and throwing two axes at once. We had my entire family there to surprise me, even though we had the youngest at almost 3 months old up to grandparents, Matt has great! We had as young as 6 throwing axes and they loved it as much as we did. I would highly recommend trying this if you haven't already. Great fun! The nice thing is you have time in between throwing, so you get to spend time with others that are not throwing, and mingle with your group. Thanks Matt for a great time. I have already told many people about this and hope this helps you out.
  • Highly recommend. Staff is really friendly and they let you control the music. Came here as a stop on my bachelor party and had a great time!
  • Had a great time, host was a nice guy, seemed genuinely interested in us having fun. Axe throwing will be perfect once the province figures out alcohol licensing.
  • We went with a group of 9 people and had a blast. It was the first time for the majority of the group. Our instructor, Justine, was awesome and was constantly watching our throws and giving us tips on how to improve. Her tips were right on and she helped make the whole experience a lot of fun for us. It was great we could have our own snacks and drinks there. I would come back again and definitely recommend this as a fun group activity.

Where to stay in Kitchener

For a relatively large city, Kitchener doesn't offer a particularly broad range of accommodations. In the city center, King Street offers a handful of mid-range hotels, but little beyond that. Your best bet is to look southeast to Centreville Chicopee, where you can find a cluster of chain hotels, or northwest to the adjoining city of Waterloo, which offers some nicer hotels by its main park.
