  • This is a small museum but very historic. Don't know why they merged miniature train stuff to this attraction but in a way, it’s a good thing that they did as there is not too much to see other than t...  more »
  • Not far from the center of Kingston, this small museum is to visit with the children. Be visited in 30 to 60 minutes and is free!

  • The museum is geared towards children but is a nice place to visit if you buy the K Pass. It appears to be much more fun for children as they have plenty to do there.

  • This is a great small museum in a beautiful location on the Kingston waterfront. It is a short walk downtown or to the Queen's University campus. It makes a great destination for children as the exhibits are lovely moving machines that capture the imagination.
  • Small museum, good view of the old city water pumps. Huge model train setup. For the Canadians of a certain age, the model train set that appeared on the opening of "The Friendly Giant" is on display. You can run many of the trains. The old steam launch outside is a nice treat as well.
  • I visited almost the first day it opened. There were more info on how pumping works. But those science info was probably too difficult and now it was replaced with science camp and other exhibits. But this museum is still full of fun for family with kids to spend couple hours. Don't forget about the fun train models!
  • It was a very cool experience. The staff there were amazing and knowledgeable. Gave us a brochure and information about other museums and events in Kingston. Was a great experiance.
  • Cool engines but not interesting cause you cant touch the engines and toys for kids to play with.
