  • This park is very peaceful, with some great views and nice waking paths along Lake Ontario. I suggest arriving there just before sunset, on a clear day, for the best views.  more »
  • The splash pad is a good size with several activities for children. Climbers and swings to the one side of the splash pad. Lots of picnic tables. And a large covered pavilion. The public washrooms are...  more »

  • Went to Providence Health Care to visit my father. He was there for rehabilitation. Lots of parking available. This hospital is modern and offers both inpatient and outpatient services, including a therapy pool. There is a good size cafeteria with Starbucks. The rooms are good sized and the support staff are friendly and helpful.
  • The views are absolutely breathtaking. The park is beautiful and it is a perfect place for you to take a packed lunch and sit down to a relaxing afternoon. It was not crowded the day we had gone and the weather was perfect, Had a wonderful time just doing nothing but taking in the beauty of the place.
  • Far walk to the beach. Large stairs to walk up after swimming. Nice picnic spot. BBQs are provided you bring your own Charcoal. Great splash pad. Large covered area if it rains. Good washroom facilities.
  • So beautiful! The play area was lacking a bit for us (toddler aged child) but the whole park was clean and stroller friendly. Lots of benches. Beautiful view
  • Wow... What a treasure. I just found this park and let me tell you it is fantastic! The waterfront is spectacular. There were ducks everywhere... Not 5 feet from me and unconcerned. There are lots of walking trails and handcap parking right at the water. I love this place!

Where to stay in Kingston

The most desirable accommodations in Kingston line the waterfront in the city's downtown region, offering views over the wide St. Lawrence River. If you want to immerse yourself in the city's hippest scene, look slightly west to the area around Queen's University, where you'll also enjoy easy access to some of Kingston's most pleasant parks. Those hoping to take some road trips out of the city should consider staying at one of the many motels and guesthouses along Princess Street--there, you're perfectly placed to hit the road and explore the region.
