Kingston Waterfront, Kingston

4.1
#1 of 6 in Parks in Kingston
#Nature / Park, #Must See
Enjoy a relaxing lakeside stroll at Kingston Waterfront. A favorite among locals, the walking paths of the waterfront offer picturesque views of Lake Ontario, with several places to sit and take a moment to simply people-watch or feed the ducks. You’ll find many restaurants along the way, as well as a restored locomotive and a farmer’s market with fresh produce. You can take a boat cruise, or rent a canoe from the waterfront to spend a day on the lake itself. • This is one of the best hotels I've ever been to In My Life. The staff is extremely nice and helpful, it's walking distance for anything in town! But what student the most is the rooms they were very big and nice and the view was absolutely incredible the park right beside it is amazing for Pokemon and I will include pictures of some of the things I got there below.
  • Perfect place to see downtown, and be part of the different events going on. Being so close to the waterfront is a real bonus. Great dinner in the onsite restaurant. Friendly staff
  • Great location, but terrible conditions. The hotel is in the best place of the city, with great view of the river. Parking in the hotel, good location. All the staff is best, very friendly and heapful, primarily the waitresses in the restaurant. The hotel is old, and need a extreme renew. The room smells bad, the carpet have a deep dirt, KEEP YOUR SHOES, otherwise you will lost your socks. Terrible conditions in the bathroom.
  • This hotel is right on the waterfront and spacious and comfortable rooms have lovely views. All rooms appear to have balconies, and based on what we could see of the other hotels in the area, the only hotel with balconies.
  • The room was nice, but booked because they had a pool. The hot tub was so cold my toddlers lips were blue, never mind the pool

Where to stay in Kingston

The most desirable accommodations in Kingston line the waterfront in the city's downtown region, offering views over the wide St. Lawrence River. If you want to immerse yourself in the city's hippest scene, look slightly west to the area around Queen's University, where you'll also enjoy easy access to some of Kingston's most pleasant parks. Those hoping to take some road trips out of the city should consider staying at one of the many motels and guesthouses along Princess Street--there, you're perfectly placed to hit the road and explore the region.
