Haunted Mansion, Kensington
Categories: Theme Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
Prepare to be spooked as you wander from floor to floor at Haunted Mansion. Legend has it that the haunted house was built by an English man back in the 1890s, which explains the English Tudor style exterior and decor. In the cellar (referred to by some as dungeons), you can explore corridors that resemble creepy old English streets. After having your nerves tested inside the house, discover the gardens outside, where you'll find a few carnival-style rides, a play area and a small petting farm, providing entertainment for all ages. Was OK. Probably would be better at Halloween. There is a lot to see as there is 3 stories and a yard. I don't scare easily so not sure whether or not it would be suitable for a younger crowd. Parents... read more »

The first time I was in Pei my kids visited The Haunted Mansion 3 times. This year they asked to go again. I recommend going after dark, it will add a little more fright and be less crowded. Too many people in there at once can take the surprise out of it. For the younger ones or those that just don't enjoy that kind of thing. The gardens outside are Beautiful! full of little rides for the kids, a few farm animals, games and a small train that will take you on a tour. 5 star all around.
Robots on a timed interval were mostly meh. One or two startles. The Vortex was trippy as balls awesome though. Groups run into each other which breaks the atmosphere unfortunately. Maybe being adult and during the daytime was our problem.
This place is a fun place for ALL ages. Lots of time has been spent in the house. The garden is amazing and I especially loved the attractions from Rainbow Valley. Brought back great memories.
Third time here! The hauntesansion is great for kids and adults alike. There are rides included in the cover charge that the kids will love!
Old, tacky, run-down. Smells of musty basement throughout. The story was good, but the execution...well...not so much. About a dozen trips on the Tilt-A-Whirl with our kids in the complimentary amusement park made the price of admission sting a little less. We went on a recommendation from someone, but won't be passing that recommendation along.
