Haunted Mansion, Kensington

#1 of 6 in Theme Parks in Prince Edward Island
Prepare to be spooked as you wander from floor to floor at Haunted Mansion. Legend has it that the haunted house was built by an English man back in the 1890s, which explains the English Tudor style exterior and decor. In the cellar (referred to by some as dungeons), you can explore corridors that resemble creepy old English streets. After having your nerves tested inside the house, discover the gardens outside, where you'll find a few carnival-style rides, a play area and a small petting farm, providing entertainment for all ages. • Was a fun and different experience with much to see and do. We went with our 5 year old daughter which I thought she would be fine with this experience as she does not get scared too easy. She had cri...  more »
  • On a recent road trip through Prince Edward Island, we 'accidentally' came across the haunted mansion. We had no idea it existed, until we drove past it. Being lovers of any offbeat or weird attractio...  more »
  • The couple visited the refreshment breaks in the wet. The romantic atmosphere is potentially large in size and grunge-inspired!

  • You can tell that a lot of love has gone into creating and maintaining this attraction, which not only features a haunted mansion to explore, but also children's amusement rides and a small garden with water features. The mansion itself features three distinct levels and a variety of effects that got me jumping a few times, as well as an attention to detail that really helped to creepify things. There was even a secret door or two you have to locate in order to make your escape. This attraction is definitely worth a visit!
  • Great reminder of rainbow valley as, the former owner of rainbow valley has brought some of his greatest attractions to this renovated Victorian haunted house. Classic fun with lots of old school. Must try the moonshiners shooting gallery
  • Great fun rain or shine. Staff is also great. Some sections may be a little scary for young kids but teens to adults will have a blast. Once you exit the mansion, you can enjoy the gardens (decently kept) and then have a little fun on the tilt-a-whirl or waste a few quarters at the fair style shooting gallery.
  • The first time I was in Pei my kids visited The Haunted Mansion 3 times. This year they asked to go again. I recommend going after dark, it will add a little more fright and be less crowded. Too many people in there at once can take the surprise out of it. For the younger ones or those that just don't enjoy that kind of thing. The gardens outside are Beautiful! full of little rides for the kids, a few farm animals, games and a small train that will take you on a tour. 5 star all around.
  • The haunted house was fun if a little shorter than I would have liked. The gardens were absolutely gorgeous and a little piece of heaven. They alone are worth the price of admission
