  • When I come to town on business....summer and winter, I love to go running here. The trail is well groomed, and safe. Fresh air and the sound of the bubbling brook...great parking  more »
  • The best walk or bikeride with your family or your furry friend. In October you can see the salmon return to spawn.  more »
  • Beautiful place for a walk. There is a clear pathway so walking in the winter is easy. Lovely scenic walk just a few minutes from home. I look forward to doing the entire trail when it's open  more »

  • Take your lover for a stroll here. Hold hands and walk along the creek. Talk and feel connected to one another in nature. It's easy to bike or walk. If it's a super hot day take a dip in one of many little wading pools.
  • Beautiful park in the center of Kelowna. For the most part is very flat and easy for a casual walk or bike ride. But if your on the more adventurous side then there is some winding hill side trails that are great aswell
  • We had just come down from Myra Canyon trestles with my aunt from Edmonton and we were looking for a nice place to have the picnic lunch we packed. We found this park in Kelowna and it had very nice tables to have a lunch at as well as nice clean public washrooms. A nice bit of urban green space in Kelowna away from traffic and noise. Great for families. Free.
  • Beautiful area so close to the city. Walking trails are so scenic and well maintained. Lots of wildlife (deer, bear, birds of all kinds, squirrels and chipmunks, gardener and bull snakes, salmon (during the fall). The EECO center is a wonderful place to go and read or to look at the ever changing displays and taxidermy. The playground is very popular with children under 12. Great place.
  • A family friendly hiking ground. Plenty of trails that criss-cross each other frequently. Easy hiking and fairly stroller friendly. Along with a large playground and an interpretative center, this makes a great go-to place for family time. There's a pond on the east end where you can find turtles and frogs hanging out in the spring/summer. A local favorite with a good amount of traffic, but the hiking trails are quiet.
