Knox Mountain Park encompasses 310 hectares (766 acres) of forest and grassland, home to a variety of ecosystems and wildlife including deer, birds, and grizzly bears. The western park boundary borders Okanagan Lake where spawning salmon may be seen. The park features various hiking trails throughout the park, each differing in length and difficulty. These trails can also be used for running, mountain biking, bird-watching, and general sightseeing. Two lookout points--one of which is the mountain summit--provide views of the city, the park itself, and the surrounding mountains.   • Cool place for some nice hikes and beautiful views on the lake and city. Depending on what you are capable to do you can decide between different hikes . 
  • Beautiful big park just beyond the downtown core. They have a variety of different trails you could spend alot of time exploring this park. Bonus, they have a large fenced dog park. 
  • Pauls Tomb trail is a flat hike with stunning views over the lake and Kelowna. There is one steep part on the way back however it is the only steep part on the whole trail. Definitely recommend this h...  more »

  • Great look-out points, trails and sightseeing. Also very accessible for all ages and levels of fitness/commitment as it has several different parking lots where you can start your hike at different heights throughout the mountain, always more to explore!

  • A great place to see the Kelowna city. Both hiking and bike trails are very accessible and offer some spectacular views of the city. The lookout points are also accessible by car.
  • Parks nice a quite. Waters not the best for swimming lots of seaweed and not comfirmed but Im sure Duck Itch is a case here. If you are looking at just sun tan with not a bunch of people or drink on the beach this wpuld be the spot. Cheers
