The beach and falls in Fintry were a peaceful day retreat worth doing if staying in Kelowna or nearby. The beaches were clean, calm and even in the summer felt private enough to really relax in. The w...  more »

First of all I'd like to say the park itself is just ok. It gets hot in the summer time and only about 1/3 of the sites have any shade. The generator hours are not sufficient to cool your trailer for ...  more »

We attended a wedding over the May long weekend and this venue was delightful for our festivities - the service and set up were great! The only issue for a wedding is that all noise needs to be shut d...  more »

This place is heaven! Lots to explore, quiet, the history of the area, wildlife and foliage outstanding. I live locally and this is top three camping locations. No power so dry camping and I prefer it that way. Wonderful boat launch etc etc.... You would be best to research the areas history so you can appreciate it when you visit!

Absolutely beautiful and quiet campsite with full plumbing in all washrooms and even the outhouses have full plumbing! Would recommend for families but since quiet time is at 10pm I wouldn't recommend for full party camping unless in group site!

The falls are amazing and it's stairs all the way up. Makes it much easier for most to visit and see. The campground looks well laid out fairly booked most of the season.

Great stair climb to the waterfall. Manor tour was interesting. Just need more signs with history of the buildings and improvement of the gardens surrounding the house

The park is beautiful! There are heritage buildings to see, an amazing waterfall, a playground for the kids, and a pretty nice beach on the lake (plus a smaller dog beach). The only thing I don't like about this place is that many of the camping sites are a gravel circle in the grass - no privacy, no shade, nowhere to string your tarp.

Where to stay in Kelowna

Downtown is considered the most desirable area to stay, with several hotels backing onto Kelowna City Park and offering views over the lake. The southern lakeside suburb of South Pandosy and the inland neighborhood of North Central also offer a range of accommodations, which cater to those looking for a genuine taste of Kelowna. If you have a car, you can stay at one of the roadside accommodations in Dilworth-Enterprise or Leathead.
