  • Great park. Lots of good walking paths. The flooding has hit it hard, but it will be fixed up after the water recedes. Still some great lake views.  more »
  • Avoid at night. Very sketchy people hanging out there and we genuinely feared for our safety. No real police presence.  more »
  • This is a fun place to go with children and couples. The boardwalk is well used the children play area is well set up. Lovely spot spring summer and fall not so great this past winter  more »

  • Really beautiful park. Great place to bring your family if you're from out of town. I lived in Kelowna for years and spent almost everyday at City Park. I love the street market type shops they set up on some weekends, jet boat adventures were so much fun, and people constantly inviting you to play beach volley ball. Right next to food and shops (I recommend Gorge's gorgeous gourmet burgers) and my favourite food truck, the Rolling Stove. In City park you'll find the famous "sails" statue and the Ogopogo, cute little attractions to take pictures of or with. Grassy areas for picnics or just to lounge and of course the beach.
  • Great park to go to on a sunny day as the boardwalk and lake side are great places to walk or go for a run. There are many activities to choose such as soccer, basketball, volleyball, hang out at the beach, sunbathe, swimming, tennis, picnic, and various other park activities. There's a paved multi-use court, a lawn bowling club, playground area, soccer field, basket ball court, two tennis courts, seven volleyball sand pits, and a water park. There are washroom facilities next to the water park and near the playground. Park is well maintained and stays fairly clean. A decent amount of parking and can get quite busy in the summer time. Parking is free on weekends and holidays. On regular days, it is $0.75 per hour where paid parking is in effect from 6am-6pm (Mon-Fri). Parking lot is open until 11pm and all vehicles are towed after that time.
  • Nice place for slackline swimming and taking sun. Feel fake a bit when you look at the green grass in that desert erea, but totally worth going for a nice afternoon
  • The boat ride was great even though I'm not a boat man! The food is decent too and you can always stop for a drink at Earls!
  • I LOVE Kelowna City Park. It's BIG, it's beautiful, good amenities, free parking on evenings and weekends. It's a great place to meet friends for a walk in nature! GOOD therapy!!!
