  • A nice park right in the heart of downtown Kamloops. Water park for the kids, beach for swimming and cooling off in the summer, long boardwalk style trail that is perfect for a run. Also lots of space for picnics or park sports. Careful with dogs, though... They are not allowed everywhere in the park.
  • Because my kids love this place. And it is also a fantastic location. Possibly one of the best downtown parks in the country.
  • THE park in town where everything happens! Great kids playground, part of the Riverside walk, bandshell has free music in the park every night in summer, splash park for kids, rose garden, large trees for shade.
  • This is a great playground! Huge structure in a variety of levels, with a bridge, sway boat, two slides, monkey bars, flying fox, rolling log, balance beam, ramps and ladders. It's easy enough for a two year old but challenging enough for older kids too. I watched a number of teenagers having fun on the spider web climbing structure. The playground surfacing is wood chips - not my favorite. It is right beside the splash park and washrooms. There are many nearby benches and picnic tables.
  • Nice park to walk with paths cleared in the winter. Nice view of the river and mountains.
