  • Just a nice place to go for a walk. In the evenings you will likely see deer near the golf course area like last night a mama and baby deer ... So nice!  more »
  • This is always a busy park, especially on the weekends, with softball, hockey, curling, and golf. But we were just there for a run. We ran around the park on the riverside trails.  more »

  • This is massive and gorgeous park nestled away on McArthur Island on the North Shore of Kamloops. This park contains a number of sporting fields, an Ice rink that played host to this years IIHF championship tournament, as well as playgrounds, a skateboard park, butterfly gardens, riverfront and beautiful, well-maintained pathways that are awesome for walking. Easily accessible yet removed from the city makes this parks location ideal for the large tournaments and events that happen through out the year. A great facility in a great location
  • McArthur Island Park has a lot to offer the people of Kamloops. The entire park is ringed with a path that's enjoyed by people walking, running, cycling, etc. The inner park has multiple fields for soccer and baseball, with a 9 hole golf course at the west end and a lawn bowling facility at the east end. The McArthur Island skate park is used by young people from all across the city. You'll see people on skateboards, scooters, bicycles, and more.
  • The Kamloops and area's flagship tournament park. Wonderfully designed, with team sports, golf, and walking being fundamental design points. The figure-8 walking paths utilise the useable space well, while the soccer, baseball, skate board riding park, lawn bowling, boat launch, public outdoor exercise facility, and beautiful seasonal gardens are well enough spaced and maintained, that they maintain their functionality and decorative elements. A delightful community hub, McArthur Island Park also is host to a curling rink, and hockey arena, home to the Kamloops Storm. A fantastic public green space, which is constantly evolving to suit the public's needs.
  • Great park, well maintained. Excellent grass. Decent amount of facilities. Bathrooms are lacking though. Most with only 1 stall.
  • Weather was really hot! Visited Kamloops and found this huge skate park. These photos are of one of the bowls in the park. The grafiti art inside the bowl is awesome.
