Situated within a national park, the area around the lakes supports diverse wildlife, including elk, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats. Rent a canoe or a rowboat and paddle around a small lake island, and learn about the area's important role during World War II, when it served as the building site of an unsinkable warship--which eventually sunk when the project was abandoned. • The two lakes are beautiful. We have seen these but in a short time. Ideal if you have not much time or anstrengen engendes more to do nothing. In Patricia lake, you can not walk, everything stop at the roadside, and enjoy the view.
