  • Have been many times, been with friends, and kids. Lots of fun betting on horses. The kids usually pick the horses with the best names lol. Food is good as well.
  • Has a casino and close to home so I come here when I have a few bucks to blow. Sometimes a good night and others? Well you take a chance. Still a good evenings entertainment
  • We live close by so once in awhile we'll head over to the track to bet on the horses. This is always entertaining and you don't need to spend a fortune to have fun. My budget for gambling is $50 and i...  more »

  • I took my daughter for her 23rd birthday, I wanted to go to the buffet ($50 per person!). I figured it had to be good for $50. Wrong. The food selection was minimal and bland. We were underwhelmed and I felt like an idiot for not just leaving and hitting the snack bar before hitting the races. I feel like the buffet should be worth about $15 per person...no where near worth $50! The server wasn't too enthusuastic either, she seemed like she didn't even want to be there. The staff who helped guide us through the process of placing bets were fabulous though. They saved our experience and the only reason I added an extra star. I spent $200 plus a tip on the crappiest buffet I have ever been to, and I think the worst part was that I emailed Georgian Downs about it and didn't even get a response. Management should invest in some customer service relations. I have already shared my unfortunate experience with several people.
  • U can tell it's unionized. Restaurant is brutal, slow service, average at best food. Casino itself is small, found the machines tight, but that's a matter of lady luck shining her light on you... Not a destination trip to this casino "Hail Cesar"
  • Very poor service the front security guards discriminated against my Asian friend because he looks younger he was at the front door for 20 minutes it was very embarrassing standing there so long and we will never go back the 2 older lady security guards last night made us feel like criminals.
  • This place is inconveniently located in a residential zone. The place is well maintained although it is a little outdated. Only slots and electronic gambling, which kind of takes away the fun. The live horse track is an appeal.
  • Lol, look around at everyone playing. Take note on how many smiles you actually see. Staff is great and friendly and helpful. Games aren't.
