  • I would like to warn, to rely on the statements and confirmations of this company! Due to several other reviews, I have called at the email posting from Germany absolutely in time to inform us in case of a cancellation. In addition to the E-mail address I specified our overnight address to safety the night before. I was assured that I would get a message when any failure of the tour anyway. An email with demand after arrival at Ingonish on the eve remained unanswered and the other day we found winterfest packed and leave without any mention of the boat. A phone call brought only excuses and lies: they had "tried everything", but unfortunately not had my contact information / the boat would be defective / whether I'd really writing posted at "Tracy" In an E-mail after Homecoming (all of a sudden they had but my contact?) more lies, which themselves have objected to then finally each other just came. Our impression was very clear: season gone well > tired of a few scattered tourists > it does close. How unprofessional can you deal with customers, that align their tour on this date and have also no way to search for replacement? It was a very bitter disappointment and the apology was thank you literally "I know it what importante.inconvénient for you to drive 15 minutes to find out there was no one" – also! In the Office of the National Park and at a travel agency in Germany they are anyway, draw conclusions from our report.

  • 🐋 Bring your cell/camera & don't worry about it getting wet. We stayed dry for all of the trip. The captain was saying that they hadn't seen many whales for at least a week so we were lucky to find Finwhale after 1 hour into ride.Tip:- look for the jet of water& cloud from whale breathe-hole. It's more visible on horizon than a small fin which blends in with swells/waves.Tip 2- don't rely only on captain to find whales. Look yourself. Eventhough captain has trained eyes, he needs all help he can get.!! 🐳
  • This was an amazing experience! We didn't see any whales but we saw seals and a ton of dolphins!!!! The captain was very experienced and was able to locate a giant pod of dolphins. They were swimming up and beside our boat, it was so awesome! And riding on the zodiac was so much fun! I brought my slr camera and got great shots. Me and another lady were only ones that wore that lifeguard suit as apposed to just the vest and we were only ones with dry bums as an fyi :) But you don't really get wet at all, it was mostly the dolphin that splashed us :P i would recommend this boat tour!!!! Highlight of our trip for sure.
  • We enjoyed the adventure even though we didn't see any whales 😥 It was wonderful seeing the beautiful coastline from the vantage point of the ocean and we also viewed some seals! The captain, Kinnon, was a great guide and shared information along the way. The zodiac was safe, and quite a smooth ride even if a bit bumpy. I was afraid I might feel seasick but I didn't at all, nor did anyone else aboard! Would definitely go again!
  • Great tour, friendly service. We've seen dolphins, finwhale, seals. They also provide you with life jacket or full body suit. Made great photos.
  • Staff on the dock and captain were personable and friendly. Had full-body flotation/safety suits to keep us warm and dry, available in sizes even for large guests, which was appreciated given the strong wind the day we went. We unfortunately were only able to find one fairly shy fin whale on our trip, which was dissapointing, however the captain made an effort to show us other interesting sights, including seals and nesting birds on the idland close to the wharf. We would have given a 4.5 given the limited the whale sighting, but that could be just a seasonal/luck of the draw situation
