  • I really enjoyed visiting this place and will definitely go again sometime. There's not a whole lot to interest young kids, and it's definitely not a hands-on kind of place, but my kids enjoyed looking at everything. There's a good selection of lots of different types of things, plus a 20-minute video about cheese-making, which was very interesting. There is a HUGE wooden carving/sculpture of a group of wagon trains, which is absolutely beautiful and it's worth visiting to see that alone. The display is so delicate it looks like some of it is made of paper. I have to say that it's one of the most amazing works of craft I've ever seen. They have several buildings, including a school house, blacksmith's, and the cheese factory, as well as the main building. It's not a big place, but it's very well organized and presented.
  • Educational and intriguing.
