  • This place has really high quality maple syrup. The owner takes a lot of pride in his operation and it shows in the end products which are some of the best in the area so far as I'm concerned. If you go to the farm, the owner will take you around the shop during the off-season and show you how the maple syrup process works. I would highly recommend the fudge. It's delicious!
  • Tom is a fabulous guide, explaining all the intricacies of maple syrup making. Thanks for the tour and the wonderful products.
  • We were touring Canada in 2015 and our cousin wanted to visit Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm, initially I was reluctant as we had limited time in the area. However, it turned out to be one of everyone’s favourite highlights of the whole tour. The Maple Farm is set in a beautiful location in amongst a large maple forest and the farm house’s design complimented its surroundings and is finished off with a bright red roof. You have to pre-book the tour, which works well as there wasn’t too many people. I thought this was a good idea as this tour is educational and inspirational, so you’ll want to hear everything. I was surprized to learn how much work is involved in obtaining and creating this most delicious syrup. In short, the tour was very entertaining, interesting and was as much visual as spoken. Next we enjoyed a tasting of the different strengths of maple syrup, simply delicious ;-) Next, we were offered the chance to buy all sorts of products made with maple syrup. Our kids bought all kinds of maple syrup type sweets including maple syrup candy floss. We bought the largest bottle of the darkest maple syrup, which we worked out was about half the price we would have paid in the UK for similar volume. But we have never tasted a maple syrup in the UK that tasted as good as Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm syrup. We even had to buy an extra suitcase to get it home. We only used that maple syrup at Christmases, birthdays and other important days and thanks to the advice given at the farm, the last bit of maple syrup tasted as good as the first drop. I highly recommend this tour, we were a party of five of differing ages and tastes and it was one of the only things we agreed on, Sugarbush Hill Maple Farm Tour was brilliant and so is there maple syrup.
  • A wonderful experience and absolute must do on your bucket list trip to Canada
  • The owners took us on a spontaneous tour of his evaporator and operation at his Sugarbush. We bought a liter of the Amber maple syrup and it was amazing on our pancakes.
