  • We went in to try local maple syrup, and to kill some time with the tour. Sugar maker and owner, Tom, drew us in with his fun and enthusiastic explanation of maple syrup harvesting and it's history. H...  more »

  • Amazing place to visit! Tour was very interesting and informative, especially about their huge slice of Canada‚Äôs oldest maple tree. Owners are very friendly and engaging, as well as being very knowledgable about their maple trade. Tasting was delicious, especially the maple BBQ and the various grades of maple syrup. There is a quaint little section to buy maple foods and syrups/sauces at the front. Admission is cheap, but I highly advise to book in advance. Location is relatively small and note that there is a dog in the parking lot (their pet). Nonetheless, it is a great place to experience and learn about the Canadian staple and icon of maple syrup!
  • Excellent tour, about 1.5-2 hours long, all indoors. Got to see the different steps of making maple syrup from the point it comes out of the tree to when it becomes syrup. There were free samples of maple syrup, fudge, BBQ sauce, mustard and maple nuts. There were also maple products available for sale that were very reasonably priced! Only downside, the tour involved walking up and down stairs, I'm not sure if there was another accessible pathway.
  • Tom the owner is very nice and gives you a good introduction into the making of maple syrup. The tour starts at 10. Highly recommended. Tasting included.
  • This place has really high quality maple syrup. The owner takes a lot of pride in his operation and it shows in the end products which are some of the best in the area so far as I'm concerned. If you go to the farm, the owner will take you around the shop during the off-season and show you how the maple syrup process works. I would highly recommend the fudge. It's delicious!
  • Great experience and great tour with very nice people. There is some nice sampling to taste the different products. Highly recommended!
