Finnegan's Market, Hudson
(4.5/5 based on 55+ reviews on the web)
Founded in 1972 by Barbara and David Aird, Finnegan's Market in Hudson, Quebec is the province's most scenic outdoor antique market. It is situated in a charming rural setting on the Airds' farm, 30 minutes from Montreal. The 100 or so vendors offer antiques, handicrafts, organic produce, garden plants, home baking, dried flowers and other wares. Barbara's barn, full of Quebec pine furniture, is a collector's dream come true. Browse, search for that special treasure, relax under the willow tree and enjoy a barbequed hamburger from the snack bar. A trip to Finnegan's Market makes a fine family outing. The market is located at 775 Main Road, Hudson, Quebec and is open Saturdays only, from the first Saturday in May to the last Saturday in October from 9am-4pm.

  • Be greeted by a happy welcoming French phrase as you step up to a vendor, but not to worry he or she will slip easily into English for you. That's what you will find at Finnegan's Market in Hudson Que...  more »
  • I like a yearly stop on Saturday at the Finnegans. No need to be a connoisseur of antiques because there is a bit of everything but good taste. Everyone is lovely and you can find hidden treasures!

My daughter goes for much enjoyed cheeseburgers....with fresh, cut , summer tomatoes you can find on the condiments table The old Willow is still standing, to provide shade for our mini picnics There is SO much to look at...to consider purchasing ....delicious local honey, honey scented beeswax candles, bee butter/ wax for wood, gorgeous apples, fresh apple juice, apple cider vinegar, spiced teabread, sticky cinnamon buns, handmade hammocks using lovely colourful fabric, soy based, delicately scented candles , sunflowers in the Fall, peacock feathers , a colourful array of English china, probably the best ! chocolate chip cookies this side of the Ontario border....... special thanks this summer to Mike Mason ( antiques barn) for our 2 wonderful handcrafted tables - our cottage loves them
  • What's not to love about a flea market that sits on a field close to a river, with a bunch of booths offering all kinds of unexpected finds at prices you can't even imagine to find during sales in the city...? Just make sure it won't rain when you go, go early so you can park well, complete with a stroll in Hudson for lunch and there you have your awesome summer Saturday!
  • A large scale flea market with tons of vintage items and overpriced furniture. Can be a fun outing with the family and Hudson is a nice place to visit.
  • The vendors were really helpful and the products were of high quality. Just an incredible day looking, trading, dealing and buying antiques to apples... just love this place !
  • It could be slightly far away from Ottawa but, from Montreal it is not. Place is nice, clean, relatively big with many friendly vendors. It is worth to visit because you will find something for your home or your favorite hobby.
