Finnegan's Market, Hudson

#1 of 6 in Things to do in Hudson
Flea Market Shopping
Founded in 1972 by Barbara and David Aird, Finnegan's Market in Hudson, Quebec is the province's most scenic outdoor antique market. It is situated in a charming rural setting on the Airds' farm, 30 minutes from Montreal. The 100 or so vendors offer antiques, handicrafts, organic produce, garden plants, home baking, dried flowers and other wares. Barbara's barn, full of Quebec pine furniture, is a collector's dream come true. Browse, search for that special treasure, relax under the willow tree and enjoy a barbequed hamburger from the snack bar. A trip to Finnegan's Market makes a fine family outing. The market is located at 775 Main Road, Hudson, Quebec and is open Saturdays only, from the first Saturday in May to the last Saturday in October from 9am-4pm.

  • If you're looking for something to do on a nice summer day a trip into the countryside, to the market and perhaps lunch in one of the restaurants in Hudson is a must. The market has a variety of goods...  more »
  • We go there at least once or twice a year. There are some very nice handmade items ranging from glassware all the way to bird houses and fine handmade furniture. There are also loads of second hand items for sale by private vendors. There is food on site and it’s fairly good but be ready to wait in line at lunch hour. The parking area is in a field but on most days it’s flat and dry. Toilets are of the portable kind of which I am not a fan! But a great market all the same!
  • After living in montreal for years - I finally made it out to the market - I was expecting more flea market then antique road show but still nice gems to be found if you look hard and are willing to haggle!
  • This is a charming flea market with all sorts of memorabilia up for sale. Lots of antiques and other fun items. A good variety of vendors selling new and old pieces.
  • If Finnigas market doesn't have it , you don't need it. One of the best antique , crafts and flea market in Canada ; more than 40 years and every year gets better and better.
  • Over priced furniture, baked goods, toys, china The length of the drive I can find the same thing at a flea Market in west island!
