The restaurant at settlers ghost is a first class place to eat at. In winter it is open only for dinner, thursday to monday. During golf season it is open all day, every day. We hsve been here 5 or 6 times and we are always amazed at the quality of the food. The menu is somewhat limited, but it is made up for in taste. The summer season menu does have more options on it. The servers are very good and quite friendly.
Been going to Settlers for years as an annual golf trip. Always liked the course but this year my friend and I weren't as impressed. The greens were lightning fast with pin placements that made it impossible to putt if you were above the hole. Balls would just roll right off the green. I want to have fun when I golf. For the average player greens need to be fair. These are not.
Golf course experience is all about people and Settler's Ghost has the nicest Staff. The course is a good test, with a risk reward on par 5's, tricky green's and some well placed rough. Links style feel to many holes...gorgeous Vista's on the front with some challenges on the back. The food is awesome. Highly recommend the Beef Dip or the Chicken Club - both gourmet. The course plays in 4 to 4.5 hours - best time to play is early early am as the course books up mid morning. Staff is outstanding.
The boys go every year .no complaints love the course and the staff are great
Golfing was incredible. SUPER long fairways with some blind hills. Alot of fun with a cart. Great price for the corse.
