Not golfers but enjoyed a delicious meal at the restaurant. Pickerel was delicious, highly recommend. Burger and chicken club were really nice too. A little pricey but food is worth the price.
Visited Settler's Ghost on our way up north during a golf vacation. We had a large group of golfers. Had a very good lunch on the patio before our round of golf. Great staff, very polite and helpful. ... read more »
Golf course experience is all about people and Settler's Ghost has the nicest Staff. The course is a good test, with a risk reward on par 5's, tricky green's and some well placed rough. Links style feel to many holes...gorgeous Vista's on the front with some challenges on the back. The food is awesome. Highly recommend the Beef Dip or the Chicken Club - both gourmet. The course plays in 4 to 4.5 hours - best time to play is early early am as the course books up mid morning. Staff is outstanding.
Golfing was incredible. SUPER long fairways with some blind hills. Alot of fun with a cart. Great price for the corse.
We are not golfers, but we tried the restaurant. We had the stuffed chicken. It was excellent. For dessert, we had the Italian ice cream. Overall, we were very happy with the experience.
Loved the course but being from Las Vegas I thought it was overpriced had to pay extra for cart a bit hilly for me to walk.
We had dinner with a group of friends on Sat. Nov.13. The menu was Taste of Lake Country--fixed price. The portobello mushroom appetizer was cold with crab/cheese sauce on top congealing. The beef tenderloin was 3 hunks of charred ,tough, very overcooked meat.---how disappointing! Desserts were mediocre but the other courses were terrible. We realize that it must be very difficult to provide a menu at such low cost---$20.10, however maybe this resto should just not participate in this event if the chef cannot do a lot better than this. We did not complain as we were with a group of friends celebrating a birthday. If this meal was supposed to showcase our wonderful Lake Country [we live in the area ] tourists would have been sadly disappointed & unlikely to return.
