  • The segways are fun to do at horseshoe valley, I would recommend them again, and staff is excellent.
  • I recently bought a Groupon Adventure Pass w/ Zipline Access and unfortunately I was not able to participate in the all of the activities advertised. Originally, I was not allowed to use the zipline d...  read more »

  • Went to horseshoe valley resort for mountain biking. There were a total of 6 trails each branching off to smaller trails. The trail ranged in difficulty from a black diamond with wooden features and large jump to an easy green trail. The trail conditions were good. A little sandy and some roots. The lift was a decent speed. You can get 3-4 runs per hour. Tickets were $19.99. Good for a day of biking but that's it. Runs get repetitive after 3-4 time. Overall is a good location if you want a day of downhill mountain biking
  • The dishwasher leaked, reception rarely answers the phone, some of the towels we got were dirty, the plates and cups in our room were not washed properly. Our room looked NOTHING like the photos, its very old looking. We had two bathrooms, but one of them were lacking a hairdryer. Despite not answering the phone, if you go to the reception they give a pretty good service. But sometimes there's only one person there so the line gets long. The pools are nice, but the free one has no lifeguard. If that bothers you then you need to pay for the other pool. Then wifi works at times but sometimes completely fails. It's pretty much shared among everyone on the resort.
  • Room was clean and well appointed. No rollaway which is an inconvenience but not a deal breaker. Staff at the front desk were friendly and answered all of our requests quickly. Two on site restaurants offer great food choices and it's proximity to Barrie and Wasaga offers a great options for additional dining.
  • I played golf and had lunch at horseshoe. The course is in good condition, and for whatever reason the pin placements were extremely tough. We got a free food voucher, so we figured we try eating at the restaurant - huge mistake. The waitress was too busy on her phone than to do anything for us, and we wound up getting served our meat first, andthen the salad and dish of fries 15 min after that. Do not eat there, but the golf is good when not outrageously overpriced.
  • Disappointed that the room did not live up to the price that was being charged. For over $200 (including taxes) per night you would expect a room that is up to modern standards. Call me pickey but I don't like siting on sofas that have holes that look like a rat went to town on! Also, it's 2016. You should have flat screen tv's. My 11 year old son asked me "what is that funny looking box?" I told him it was an old cathode ray tube that had the original dust on the screen from 1986 and he went right away to look it up on Wikipedia!! Room is extremely dated. Not very clean either.
