  • We were located on the 3rd floor with 2 Queen beds. The only thing that made the room dated was the paint peeling off where the thermostat was. Beyond that we enjoyed the size of the tub and shower. We only heard people in the halls but was great. Service was good too. Price was decent. We will be staying again.
  • came here in the fall, Not much to do except hike and swim The hiking path was more or less a golf cart track. There could of been more paths but the map given to us seems to have been rendered by a 16 year old with moderate photoshop skills. The staff here was little to no help to find entertainment . Our hall way was under construction. Horseshoe says that they offer coffee in the room, which they do but if you want cream or milk with your coffee bring your own Long story short this place is priced at a 4-5 star resort but only offers 2-3 stars (at least is the fall season)
  • We rented a 2 bedroom condo for a night last year with the ski and stay package. Despite the power outage in the morning when we had planned to actually go skiing, the staff were very sympathetic and helpful. We had brought our dog with us and decided to try and wait out the power outage. The counter staff were more than happy to babysit her for a few hours! We ended up getting a discounted rate for a second night as we talked to a manger and explained that we were disappointed we couldn't actually go skiing since all of the lifts were shut down due to the power being out. I would definitely come back even though I couldn't make the trip this year in the spring! Very pet friendly and very great staff! The upscale restaurant was a little too fancy and had zero customers when we went in for dinner. Food was very overpriced, stick to the burger place in the ski shack! My fiancee also lost her ID when we were out tubing, and thanks to helpful guests and staff it was returned to her! There were some bumpy times (just like when your out on the slopes!) but overall a great experience. Highly recommend the 2 bedroom condo's, they even supplied a fire log for the fireplace!
  • Went to horseshoe valley resort for mountain biking. There were a total of 6 trails each branching off to smaller trails. The trail ranged in difficulty from a black diamond with wooden features and large jump to an easy green trail. The trail conditions were good. A little sandy and some roots. The lift was a decent speed. You can get 3-4 runs per hour. Tickets were $19.99. Good for a day of biking but that's it. Runs get repetitive after 3-4 time. Overall is a good location if you want a day of downhill mountain biking
  • I loved the location and how free it is but I ended up cutting my head and getting stitches there. Not their fault tho. Great facility
