  • The Riesling was excellent! Chardonnay was excellent. The music they were playing was also great too… If you like some hip-hop with your wine tasting!
  • Went on a highly anticipated wine tour with friends for the weekend and was really looking forward to trying Norman Hardie because I have heard great things about his wines. Although expensive in comp...  more »

  • We went to the winery on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy pizza and wine. After getting out of our car, shots rang all around us. I collected our scared kids and dog thinking there must have been hunting going on in the woods around us. It turned out that the shots came from AIR CANNONS that the winery uses to deter birds from their vineyards. I could not believe they would fire those cannons during busy periods like weekends (I feel sorry for their neighbors). After the second round of shots, my ears started hurting and we decided not to stay; such a disappointment since we had driven an hour to get there. I had ringing in my ears for the rest of the night. If you care about your hearing, stay away from this winery.
  • Best in the county. Make sure to grab pizza when available. Norm and his staff are extremely hospitable and absurdly talented.
  • Travelling solo. They sat me at the bar on a busy Saturday... Only to kick me out moments later because they wanted to give the space to a couple. This is not how you treat customers. It was insulting and highly unprofessional. If someone on the staff made a mistake, deal with it in back of house, not by making a paying customer feel like a 2nd class citizen for daring to travel alone. ETA: County Pinot Noir is highly overrated. Check out Rosehall for richer reds.
  • Beautiful winery nice and open with tasting outside and in and very friendly knowledgeable staff. We bought a bottle of their Pinot Noir A very nice light bodied wine We did not have time to eat here but looked like a very nice spot to stop
  • Try the wood fired pizza for an outdoor treat. Do a wine tasting. Norman himself is often there to chat with the guests. Wines are delicious.
