  • Was in the area on business today when I checked this place out. It was closed plus was gated so I as able to get in by walking in here. Therefore I parked the car and walked around thus checked it ou...  more »
  • The park has numerous activities, including hiking/walking, boating, camping and picnicking. The park seems spacious, and was not too busy on Sunday, Sept 11. Overall we enjoyed the time at the park, ...  more »
  • Nice clean park! Great biking and trails! Fishing and non motorized boating is good with boats available for rental. Sad they took the kids park out though and never replaced it! Wished it had more group sites with more hydro water for us trailer folks! We are frequent campers at this park!
  • This is a great place to spend the day with the family or a few friends. Lots of open spaces for field activities such as Frisbee, catch, or other similar ones. The beach is fairly large, so unless it's an extremely busy day you're sure to find a spot. Don't forget to also rent a canoe or row boat to enjoy some time out on the water. While it's not an extremely large lake, it does put up a decent challenge when it comes to navigating around it. All told, I had a great time here!
  • Walking trails are varied and well laid out. Campsires are roomy with two picnic tables per site. Washrooms are clean and well maintained. Staff are friendly, couretous and well informed about the park. GREAT PLACE TO FAMILY CAMP!
  • Our favourite conservation area and campground in Southwestern Ontario. Friendly, accommodating staff. Great superintendent. Good security - noise / rowdiness is unheardof unlike many provincial parks. This may be a function of their year round alcohol ban. I'm sure campers *do* bring alcohol and *do* drink but they are all on their best behaviour just like it should be. There are two camp stores and canoe rentals. An inland lake with expansive day use area. Campsites to suit all tastes from cozy woodsy sites for tenters to more sizeable lots for RVs. We always come 1-2x a year. They also have a winter warrior program for those so inclined to winter camping....
  • Liked the covered BBQ and washroom facility. Easily supports 50+ people. Short walk to the beach. Water depth was marked for people of smaller stature. Would recommend for groups or family get togethers.
