The wading pool is like some elaborate fountain. It's actually kind of cool. This place is deceptively large. I haven't figured out where you are supposed to.park so I had to walk a ways but I'm sure there are better areas to park. There was a free food event the first time I went hosted by some church. It was way too hot that day to stick around though. I heard a rumour they have free WiFi there now too. Playground is nice. There is probably a lot of other stuff I'm missing there. It's a great park.

Gage Park is truly one of Hamilton's hidden treasures! It boasts many features including plenty of green space, walking/jogging paths, a band shell for the many festivals/events hosted there, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, skating, a gorgeous greenhouse...so many wonderful features, all within walking distance from our home. Love it!

I enjoy this park a lot - there is usually something going on and there are almost always other children for my kid to play with. One of the few parks left with great shade trees too! The splash pad has a wading pool as well that is almost deep enough for children to float in. This year the splash pad opened during the week of June 12th.

Quite large green space park, frequented by, cyclists(me), dog walkers, runners n walkers.. Wide unpaved paths, many benches for relaxing/resting.. Band Shell for concerts n happenings, home to 'It's Your Festival' n 'Festival of Friends' n 'Christmas Train' and may more.. Baseball diamonds, bicycle ramp area for kids, greenhouse open to public $, i think.. But park events never an admission 👍😉☺ n parking lot, free, enter off Lawrence Rd.

Great park to walk around with friends. Areas to sit down available, condition of the park is well maintained. Lots of open space to play sports. Apparently a lot of Pokemon to catch here if you play Pokemon Go.
