  • Granted this place caters to tourists (cruise passengers) as well as locals who want to buy fresh fruit, produce, meat and fish, it is still well worth seeing and visiting to shop. Rather than go into...  read more »
  • What a great location and with the cruise ships docking, what a captive market. However it is one of the smallest city markets we have ever experienced. Hardly any fresh produce and very little arts o...  read more »
  • The building and interior were pretty and modernly designed but I was trying to watch how much I eat so I didn't try anything there (phooey). There were non-food vendors (like local crafters) and such...  read more »
  • a must for locals and visitors. great inspiration for local business webbing and want-to-be entrepreneurs! I used to take my kids here on a Saturday morning after ballet classes, soccer practice, or just for brunch. It's a great alternative for those families looking for something to do then go to a mall :-/ with their kids as it's free and totally inspiring! It brings out the creativity and motivation bug in all of us... including the kids!
  • The best of Nova Scotia in this market from fresh produce, fresh meat, fresh seafood, fresh dairy products, fresh herbs and plants. Nova Scotian vendors wth homemade foods, drinks, crafts... Never a more friendly and welcoming people. A true jewel on the Halifax waterfront....
  • I love the Halifax Farmers Market. They have such great fresh choices. The food is amazing. The breakfast burritos, the dips, the fresh Apple juice. I love it all! Really cool art work as well. Make sure to check out the roof! Very nice views from there.
  • We are from out of town and came here thinking we could get fresh local food and/or have lunch here. We were sorely disappointed to find that this is a large building with just a few shops from local artisans and some takeout restaurants. It was not a farmer's market - more like a gift shop with food. Maybe it's different on different days? We went during the week.
  • This is a great spot every weekend to shop for local goods and groceries. It is very busy but with plenty of shops and stands it always worth checking out. Sometimes it can be flooded with tourists from cruise ships. Either way it is worth checking out!
