  • I was lucky enough to visit on a Saturday and experience the market at its best. A wonderful eclectic mix of foodstuffs, eateries, crafts and buskers. A great place to visit!  more »

  • Bustling marketplace for locally produced crafts and foods. I wanted to eat everything! It was crowded on the Saturday morning when I visited, with musicians performing inside and good smells coming from everywhere. A lot of the vendors were cash only. I found a couple of good gifts here, including a really nice beeswax candle, and a whole small wheel of Gouda.
  • Enjoyed my time here. Lots of booths offering different things. Place was clean and everyone was friendly. And it's by the waters; there's seating outside so you can enjoy the view.
  • Always come here when I'm visiting halifax. I love the diversity of shops, great good and entertainment . The whole environment of the market is inviting. There is always places to sit and the location to the harbour front is perfect. There is always a lot of parking too! Perfect place to make it easy and inviting to shop local!
  • Everyone has something different to bring to the table, from necklaces and earrings to some tasty crepes. It's a very nice place to go and enjoy your weekend and listen to some music.
  • Lovely place for a Saturday morning coffee. Best view in town. Usually very crowded. I personally don't find the produce high quality. Still worth going for the experience.
