  • the gardens are a source of relaxation, trails that wind through a varied Park. A beautiful Fountain at the entrance and a pond with ducks.

  • We thought that it being late October, there wouldn't be any foliage or flowers left. We were wrong. The Gardens were very colorful. Awesome and peaceful place to just walk around.  more »
  • Not very large. Flora is not marked. There are places to sit, there are places to walk, it is quiet. There are good, clean bathrooms. It is near the Citadel. I don't know that it is worth going out of...  more »

  • An incredible place, it's a healing garden for me. Completely accessible for all. A place to escape the hustle & bustle of the city. I love sitting by one for the fountains and pretend I am in Paris, London or any other Northern Europe city rich with urban gardens/parks.
  • An absolutely stunning place. There are dozens of beautiful plant beds that are cycled throughout the seasons, which means there's always something new to see. If you need a break from the bustling Spring Garden area, it doesn't get much better than this. Just remember to keep off the grass except in the designated area!
  • Absolutely amazing. Haligonians are quite fortunate to have this peaceful green space in their city. I can see how it can be a calming and relaxing place to spend hours in.
  • My only complaint is the 'no bikes' rule, as the first time i went to check it out i biked there. Though once you get inside you can see why that rule is in place. Beautiful gardens, a good place to go read a book and drink a coffee.
  • The garden is beautiful and fun, definitely a must see for anyone visiting! Normally turns into an energetic place during any city events! The sugah bar at the south entrance is a really nice place to have a coffee or ice cream.
