  • Lovely public gardens, doesn’t take long to get through it. Cute little things to find on the journey round and a variety of plants.  more »
  • This is a beautiful example of an English Garden in Eastern Canada. The park really is quite amazing, given Halifax's size. While some Europeans I met were not thoroughly impressed, that may be given ...  more »
  • A pleasant park in the center of Halifax. We went in May, so maybe it will be even more flowers and colours in summer. We liked it though.  more »

  • If you are in the area, this is a must for a break from work. The park is small but lovely and they do a lot of good maintenance. Peaceful and beautiful, I also love watching the cute fluffy geese, which are my personal highlight. The gardens are stunning all the time and they are constantly doing grooming. The only thing that desperately needs to be improved is the quality of the pond water. It's been a greenish sludge colour for far too long. I hear they are going to clean it up, and it's well over-due.
  • Peaceful place for an afternoon stroll. Open all year for the first time. Enjoy watching the trees and bulbs start to bloom. Summertime is great for Sunday afternoon concerts in the Gardens.
  • absolutely gorgeous! love this place; in the summer it's like a get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Has ducks, fish and turtles in it as well.
  • Summer and winter it's a great place to escape from the city noise and enjoy the relaxing vibe. The gardens are beautiful in the Spring, Summer and Fall.
  • Utterly beautiful! On a summer day with the sun shining and maybe some ice cream in your hand it's a great place to hang and see some pretty flowers! :)
