  • I used to walk along here everyday on the walk to work, except in the winter. Beautiful scenery to distract from a stressful work day.  more »
  • Must see part of Halifax only a couple minutes from Citadel Hill. Quiet, peaceful and historic. Great place for a pic nic or to just relax and observe the landscaping.  more »

  • Beautiful part of town! Smack dab in the middle of downtown. A little oasis of beauty. Great place for a wedding, a good book read on the grass, family brunch or just a stroll through for all the unique floral designs
  • One of the most beautiful places in Halifax. It was a treat to go there while visiting the city. Great place to just walk on your own or with company. Plenty of benches with as many nature settings to support your mood. Take your camera and you'll definitely get some great shots.
  • An impressive garden in the city. Well maintained and layed out. The pond is so peaceful. I was really impressed by this place. Better than I expected. Plenty of benches to sit and soak up the beauty.
  • It's a special gem in the heart of our downtown. Halifax isn't Halifax without our public gardens. Many individual species of trees all labeled. An amazing fountain in the middle. Great spot for the whole family and visitors alike.
  • Well-maintained garden, lots of Pokestops. Definitely should stroll through on a summer day, read a book in the shade, or check out a Sunday afternoon concert. In the summer time be sure to check out the Dahlias and mini exotic plant sections. For instance there's some small avocado, papaya, lemon, citrus, pineapple, and coffee plants.
