  • Nice to see away from the hustle and bustle of city and you can just walk your cares away. Beautiful shoreline and great to see the real Nova Scotia.
  • A really nice place to spend an hour or two checking out the quirky little shops which carry all sorts of interesting items. Great place to grab some gifts or souvenirs.
  • This is a cute little fishing village, with good photo ops and some touristy shops and an excellent seafood restaurant. Worth the drive from Halifax, but only plan to spend a couple of hours here.
  • Interesting place to visit. Good places for lunch and ice cream and lots of unique gift shops. A nice place to walk along the board walk and look at the different coloured buildings or fishing boats.
  • A nice little village-like place with shops. Stroll along the wooden walkways is nice. Boondocks is a great seafood and bar restaurant. During low tide you can walk out to the island. Be back before high tide; not sure if there is a bridge to get back!
  • Great little afternoon with my family here. Just hung out on the boardwalk and ate at Boondocks.
  • A nice little spot on the water. I did the Maritime Race Weekend here and this area was the start finish line. Great experience over all.
  • Great place to shop / fish /walk
