  • I stopped for the great sweet corn and was pleased by the selection and the bakery I purchased a dozen corn and 1/2 dozen butter tarts which almost didn't make it home ( they smelled so good- and were...  more »

  • Great fun for a family outing. Lots to do, and tasty baked goods. Lots of fall colours. Close to Guelph.

  • Nice setting, good selection of pumpkins, but I'm not sure that we'll return, for if you want to experience Strom's then you'd better get out your wallet. Soft pretzels are $4 each, a rubber duck for the pump races will run you $2/apiece, baked goods are priced well above the norm, and the pumpkins will lead you to believe that pumpkin growers operate on razor-thin margins. I have 3 children, and we planned to let them explore the Harvest Fun Area, only to realize that at $13.50/child, we would be out another $40 (and that after buying $35 worth of pumpkins). My advice to Strom's (though you may care less): consumers have a lot of choices, and just because your farm is a local institution doesn't mean that you need to charge excessively for every activity and product and at every turn.
  • I have lived in Guelph in the west end about 14 years. I have always known that Strom farms existed but I had no idea what a wonderful place it was. It was fun for the whole family . I had no idea there was this small gem of a bakery there. They have fresh cookies , amazing tarts and mouth watering pies. The staff were friendly , attentive and professional . I went to the family farm yesterday and had to return today. I will definitely be a regular customer čśŐčśŐ
  • It's pretty expensive for the things that they offer. The one thing we really wanted to do, actually cost MORE money (pumpkin flinging) so we skipped it. The corn maze is huge and awesome though
  • Our office visited Strom's Farm for team building. We navigated our way through a corn maze, used a slingshot to launch pumpkins while blindfolded, and played a game of human foosball. It was SO much fun. Then we were spoiled with pie and butter tarts from their bakery. It is a great place to bring your whole family or just to stop by and pick up some tarts. I will be back!
  • The whole team at Intrigue Media went for a team building afternoon at Strom's and we had a blast! A corn maze scavenger hunt, blind-folded pumpkin chucking, life-size foosball, and a delicious meal top it off. I did not want the afternoon to end! Highly recommended for team building events -- or just anyone looking to have a fun afternoon on the weekend :)
