Pierced Rock (Rocher-Perce), Gaspe
(4.4/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web)
Experience firsthand one of the world's largest natural arches in water at Pierced Rock (Rocher-Perce). Adventurous tourists like to head out during low tide to visit the rock up close (although doing so is at your own risk because of slippery ground). If you do not feel like traveling to the rock, you can view the attraction clearly from the shore and the pier. Or take a cruise on the water which circles the rock and often includes a tour guide offering some interesting facts about it. Work out when and for how long to visit Pierced Rock (Rocher-Perce) and other Gaspe attractions using our handy Gaspe travel itinerary maker.

  • A beautiful bad rock crumbling quietly, go and see it before to disappear in a few million years. For my part, I spent in the hole in a kayak, it changed my life but I still do. I saw small rocks fallen from the walls, I had no fear, but I mean, what's the fear?

  • It is the characteristic geological curiosity not to be missed, this huge, detached rock of the coast and as a starter for a cruise. It is a must-see. Plus, the small passage dug by the sea.
