4.4/5 based on 280+ reviews on the web
Experience firsthand one of the world's largest natural arches in water at Pierced Rock (Rocher-Perce). Adventurous tourists like to head out during low tide to visit the rock up close (although doing so is at your own risk because of slippery ground). If you do not feel like traveling to the rock, you can view the attraction clearly from the shore and the pier. Or take a cruise on the water which circles the rock and often includes a tour guide offering some interesting facts about it. Work out when and for how long to visit Pierced Rock (Rocher-Perce) and other Gaspe attractions using our handy Gaspe travel itinerary maker.

  • Arrival in Percé rock is like contemplating the cliffs of Etretat. It is unusual in Quebec and what we recommend and see it either at sunset or in the summer sunset! Because it's cold in September. Hence rock pierced make an expedition to the nearby island see fools of bassants. Otherwise the city - even does not have interest except the microbrewery.

  • Large rock formation just outside harbor of Perce and if you look at it just right it looks like a horse drinking water. It is a large majestic sight. The color is unique.
