Explore the wonders of Forillon National Park, Quebec’s first national park. Within the park you can find forests, sand dunes, cliffs, salt marshes, and the sea coast. Take a quiet stroll along one of the beaches, or snorkel and discover a colorful underwater world. Take time to watch the seals play along the shore or the sea birds. The park is also home to other wildlife, including foxes, bears, moose, owls, and falcons. Visit Fort Peninsule, a World War II fortification used to protect Gaspe Bay. An underground tunnel is accessible to view a cannon, still in place today.
