  • What a great market! Lots of nifty finds that are local and even much value-for-money compared to the markets in Vancouver. Fantastic selections and almost all of them are locally sourced. It’s what makes Saltspring Island the West Coast artisan Mecca.
  • Such an amazing time at the Salt Spring island Market! The local vendors are amazing. Its a plave where everyone fits in! I got myself an amazing bamboo dress and was amazing by the beautiful art and jewellery made from natural items these vendors found like moss, shells, arbutus seeds and drift wood. Very creative and inspiring!
  • I was only here briefly but this place was fantastic. Such a unique and eclectic vibe - there were all sorts of artisans, locals performing music, amazing selections of local produce and other foods. Very little here could be called "cheap", but I won't hold that against the market. A great reflection of the broader Salt Spring community and cultute.
  • A must visit while on the island. The market is full of custom jewellers, interesting art pieces, and clothing. It was great to walk around and check out, although it had much less vendors then I was expecting. It also didn't offer much food choices. 1-2 hours is plenty of time to see it all.
  • An excellent browsing environment, filled with friendly artisan's and purveyors of tasty treats, casual entertainers spring up at different times and locations... it really is an excellent way to spend the morning or afternoon !
