  • I visited early in the summer, so there were no special events or features in the square, just construction crews, the museum, some placards and a patch of grass, statues and benches. I spent a couple of interesting hours in the museum and wandering the square. Looking at the posters and materials I am sure it is a vibrant place in summer, with re-enactments and festivals. I think you will find more interesting architecture and substance just up the street where the art museum is, in restored buildings that look more like the barracks and other historic military outposts.
  • Quaint downtown park. There is always events happening in the summer. Don't forget Harvest Jazz & Blues in September! Come winter, spend some time skating.
  • This was a really fun place. My wife got to participate in the changing of the guard ceremony that they do every day.
  • Very nice place downtown Fredericton. Perfect spot for community activities.
  • Lovely, big trees. Lots of activities especially in the summer.
